Description

Specialties

We were the first green, organic, sustainable business in Cleveland. We specialize in local flavors, vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and all around delicious homemade fresh, whole food. We use organic ingredients for almost every item on our menu. We buy our produce, when in season, from nearby farms to support local agriculture. Buying organic food is healthier because there are no hormones, chemicals, herbicides, pesticides, or anything artificial in your food. And organic farming not only benefits you, it also replenishes the soil leaving it sustainable for future growth.

History

Established in 2008.

We have a mission at Treehuggers to help people see that they can make a difference, not only for our planet, but also for their health. We do our part by using as much organic, locally grown food as possible, we buy in season from local farmers to support our agriculture. All of our containers are compostable, recyclable, and biodegradable. Our coffee is locally roasted and we serve only fair trade, organic beans ground to order. Buying and eating organic not only benefits you as their are no hormones, chemicals, pesticides etc, used that have extreme effects on our society, but organic farming also replenishes the earth leaving it sustainable for future growth, rather than stripping the earth of her natural resources. We cater to your VEGAN, VEGETARIAN, GLUTEN FREE needs, so please let us knwo how we can customize your order for you!

Meet the Business Owner

Shana T.

Business Owner

Shana and her husband Eric have three children and are extremely passionate about the sourcing of their food for Treehuggers, as well as what they feed their family. They support local business owners in the area for all aspects of their business, from contracting, printing, food suppliers, cleaning products, etc. Shana is proud of the fact that there is no Freezer at Treehuggers as all of the food is bought fresh, stored fresh, and serve fresh. Shana was inspired by her father’s organic garden as a child, which is where her passion for cooking with fresh herbs and produce began.
