Really good food. I had the Fillet tips and they were good. The onion rings where a bit too breaded and doughy for me. The wait time on the food was a bit longer than chain restaurants. Otherwise, the food was good, I would return.

I liked this place okay. It seemed to be the best in the area. No real knowledge about allergies, but you can wing it here if you’re gluten sensitive. If you have no food allergies, there’s no reason it wouldn’t be a full 5 stars. I bet that bread they serve before food comes out is amazing.

Where to begin…
Heads up… This is a dry town so no bar service here.
The food. We had steak, ribs and crab cakes. The steak was okay but somewhat cold. Ribs were okay but sauce is very sweet with brown sugar. The crab cakes were terrible. Imagine mixing some Crab meat into Stove Top stuffing and pan frying it in patty form. These were also cold in the middle.
If you order green vegetables of any kind, specify that you don’t want them swimming in butter. The vegetables were also cold. The sweet potato fries come with granulated sugar all over them.
The manager did say she would talk to the kitchen but nothing else was done. I’ve been coming to Berea for several years now and there are much better local places in the area.
