Red Sun is a great spot to get chicken wings with fried rice. I can be a little picky about texture, and little details but I’ve never had any issues at Red Sun. The location itself is very small, and so it is best to take-out or call for delivery. There is not enough room to enjoy your meal comfortably. But bare in mind that you WILL wait for an extended period of time before you get your delivery. There is no «fast-food» here. Overall, staff is great, food is wonderful, prices aren’t bad, but my only complaint is delivery time. I will continue to eat at Red Sun when I’m craving Chinese food, I will just opt to pick the food up myself.

I haven’t had Chinese food in a very long time because most of the local places have subpar food and don’t look very clean. However, Red Sun is definitely an exception. I had a strong craving for Chinese food and decided to give in to my craving when I happened to pass by this establishment. It was clean and everyone working there was extremely nice. Furthermore, the food was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed the crab rangoons and pork fried rice. If you are into fried chicken, I highly recommend the chicken wings which were among the best I’ve ever had. They were fresh and had an exceptional flavor. If you are in Brooklyn, Red Sun is the place to go when the Chinese food craving hits you.

This is a great Chinese take out restaurant owned by a couple from Hong Kong. Their mei fun dish is just off the hook. In addition, the shredded pork noodle soup is authentic for Cantonese taste.
