Went for a wine tasting and left with THEWORST headache. The wine is terrible. It’s like acetone and juice. The person giving the wine tasting was clueless about every question we had. The place looked a wreck too. Vineyards were overgrown with weeds and grass growing through the cracks in the parking lot.

This is a fun place to stop in. The tasting is not the best. The woman who did ours knew nothing about the wines, which was a disappointment, since we paid for it. I’m personally not a fan of muscadine wines, so I didn’t expect to fall in love with any of them, which I didn’t, but I enjoy tasting the different variances of each one. People who talk about how bad the wine is in other Unilocal reviews probably just don’t like muscadine wine either. It’s a funky tasting grape. The grapes are bad(IMO), not the product. The wine isn’t BAD, per say, from Enoch – it’s just made from muscadine grapes, so it tastes – muscadiney. The food is alright. I always enjoy the salad bar, and I’ve had a couple of good sandwiches. A few times during the week, I couldn’t get what I wanted because they didn’t have it – I don’t think they do much biz during the week so they don’t stock up? A nice, quiet place in the area to get a decent meal. Beware of muscadine wine.

Very nice people. The lady conducting the wine tasting is friendly and knowledgeable. We did not have a meal or snack, but others who were having a meal seem to enjoy the food. Skip the wine, however. The taste is not great, in line with what others describe as nail polish. I will be more generous than that with two stars. The semi-sweets and sweets are almost acceptable. I picked up a bottle of Sweet Doreen, as I found it worthy of a polite $ 10 purchase. Forget the fruit wines, but if that is your taste, the blackberry and watermelon are the better choices.

Stopped in for a quiet lunch and a wine tasting before reading the reviews which I should have done. Beautiful place but the wine is horrid and the food was just ok. We also skipped the wine tasting since we couldn’t even stomach the wine we ordered with lunch.

The bistro is gorgeous. But that’s about all I can say. The food was average. The wine wasn’t great. We went for lunch and were going to stay for the wine tasting, but we decided to skip it. It was a little disappointing. I wouldn’t go out of my way for this place, but I did like the facility.

We had high hopes for this winery, it’s gorgeous on the outside! But, don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Our service was great… but the wines were awful. Each one tasted like a stronger version of nail polish remover. Skip it. There are much better options close by!

This is a rather new winery in the Carolina countryside. Their tasting room is very nice, and they are setting up a restaurant. But the woman who poured our wine(wife of the winemaker) was an excellent conversationalist, and very down-to-earth. My husband and I took my Mom for her 85th birthday, and we enjoyed almost all of their wines. Ended up buying a few bottles. Anna’s White was our favorite.
