Senior Living at Oaks of Bensalem is about choice, independence and well-​being. What makes «Oaks» uniquely appealing is our emphasis on each individual resident’s needs. We believe we can best serve our residents by getting to know their history, passions, and interests. We are a boutique style community with the highest level of care and engagement. We provide meals, activities, outings, laundry services and housekeeping, and of course care with medication distribution and daily living activities and needs. History

Established in 2014.

Our community has just recently changed hands and implemented new management as of December 2014. We have transitioned form being an assisted living facility to a personal care home. Our president is Paul Marangella and our executive director is Monica Bera.

Growing up, I noticed a unique interest I had in service in general. I started off as a Girl Guide and later in High school became a Ranger who was also a Girl Guide leader. This organization emphasized service and esteeming others more than yourself. I mentored 35 girls in my company as a Girl Guider in High school for 3 years. Part of our community service was visiting neighboring nursing homes, orphanages and hospitals helping out with various tasks. This stirred up a desire in me to want to serve the elderly because I firmly believe they deserve maximum respect and should be accorded their dignity. I worked in human services assuming the responsibilities of Client care worker, Med Tech, Resident Counsellor before completing my Nursing program. I worked as a nurse for 7 years in long term care. I then became a Director of Nursing as well as an Assistant Executive Director after obtaining my Personal
