Great romantic and sexy spot! The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. Jacuzzi and large two headed shower. Bath and body Works soap in your room and some items in the mini fridge and cookies too! Rose and chocolate in the room was a nice surprise. A log for the fireplace and a bottle of champagne at check in. Great getaway!

My husband and I stayed here to get away from.well.reality. It did the trick. We stayed in room that was what they say it is, secluded and romantic. Hot tub, double shower, king size bed, fireplace. just what you need for a night away. The staff was very nice and even gave us a free bottle of champagne. LIttle things DO matter. Chocolates on the bed, roses, free drinks, Bath & Body toiletries. Very cool. No room service though, but restaurants in the area will deliver so that’s exactly what we did. It was fantastic and we WILL be going back!

I really wish I could give this place 0 stars. Where do I begin? First, the room — -«suite”(and I use that term lightly) #111 was issued and it was terrible! Mold spores abound in this room – the carpet smelled old and musty. Second, the bathroom — also terrible. The toilet was not very clean; the shower also appeared dingy (looked like faint red stains were ingrained into the tile) and it smelled of strong mildew. I recommend that anyone that comes here today bring your own toiletries… the kind you will dispose afterwards, because you don’t want anything that touched that moldy space to go home with you. Third, back to the room – vertical blinds were dingy and missing a few pieces. The hot tub was running BROWN water — when management was informed of this they were rather dismissive and couldn’t accomodate with another room because they claim they were «booked» (although it looked like a ghost town there-​no cars anywhere on the lot). The bed was not something I wanted to lay in after experiencing all the above issues. Would I recommend this place? Not even to my worst enemy!

My wife and I chose the Inn of the Dove for our Honeymoon location. We were called by the Inn while in transit to ensure or safety and arrival time. We then arrived and were greeted by an incredibly polite and helpful gentleman who gave us a great description of what all our package included. We found our way to our suite, however parking was rather limited so we parked on the road to unload the car. I went back to the office to ask about parking, and the attendant there helped me get a spot fairly close to the suite. The room was very clean, other than the rose pedals all over the floor, but I’ll let this pass. Wonderfully large room and bathroom. Clean, large shower with 2 heads. Check out was a breeze. I recommend the Inn to anyone looking for a good weekend getaway.

I had the honeymoon package last year and I just had the room with the pool in the room. You have to go here to impress your significant other. Nice tucked away hide out and the rooms are always perfect. If yoy want to treat yourself to a great time this is the place! And it is located right up the street from Parx casino and racetrack.

My wife and I got the basic suite package that they offered and we couldn’t be more pleased. King size bed, fire place, jacuzzi, free wifi and cable so I could watch the playoffs! Not to mention that the double shower was awesome! We got a complimentary bottle of champagne, single stem rose, dove chocolate bar, log for the fireplace and our fridge had complimentary sodas in it. Around 11:30pm I went to the front desk to buy another log because it was cold in our room and we had the heater set on full blast! The guy asked if I mind if he checked out our heater to make sure it was working properly. He said it was working fine but if we were cold then that was unacceptable and that they aim to please. He gave me two logs for free and apologized as if he did something wrong. This was a perfect one night getaway from the kids to spend a night alone with my wife. Room was up to par, great service and affordable. We will definitely be returning at some point in the near future!

Off Nights Are better to enjoy a spur of the moment, sexy, getaway. Bring your own champagne, and dont forget the Tooyyyssss! Lol

This place wasn’t as great a while ago. Recently they remodeled all the rooms and it is a lot cleaner and nicer. I would come back here again.

Perfect for a sexy getaway. Yes, the décor is pretty cheesy 80s, but is there a tasteful contemporary way to do mirrors on the ceiling? It was just what we were expecting, plus a free bottle of champagne.

Including a microwave, fridge, iron, ironing board, hair dryer and champagne glasses? yep…
Jacuzzi and double shower? check.

Welcome to The Inn of the Dove in Bensalem, PA.
Tucked away behind the Quality Inn hotel is this cottage style romantic getaway just minutes from NYC. Like any hidden gem, you have to dust off some of the dirt around it so you can get to the gleam of the jewel.
DUSTING OFF THE BAD: This ain’t Master P’s house. No gold plated bathroom fixtures. Not super plush carpet. No «real» room service with caviar and champagne. The room was sterile, which is different from clean. Industrial office carpet and if you want to eat, just drive down the street to a restaurant of your choice. Don’t expect high end service… just a relaxing room with a king size bed and fireplace for those cold winter nights.
GETTING TO THE GEM: Stay during the week to take advantage of the weekday rates and lack of traffic. I had a few drawbacks in the room but we received really attentive service to fix my issues. The place was off the main road so it was away from the noise of the main road. Also, the main road was littered with every type of eatery you could think of. Choices are never a bad thing.
WHAT THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU: The room is just… well…the room. You have to supply the fun. This isn’t like the Cove up in the Poconos where you get horseback riding, archery, a comedy show and a huge buffet. You didn’t pay for all that. You are paying to get away from the world. Most of the fun stuff is within 10 minutes by car but you have to look it up before you get there. This includes: Franklin Mills Outlet Mall, the casino, bowling, mini golf, Central Philly is 15 minutes away, the sporting arenas are a bit farther. It can be priced as low as $ 95 a night. The Red Roof Inn down the block is $ 89 a night. You make the call.
OVERALL: I’d go back. I’d recommend it. I am not a fru-​fru kinda guy that drinks my coffee out of a small cup with my pinky in the air. Go with your favorite person of the opposite sex and romp in the room for a couple days.

This place can be described in a word – sleazy. From the sleazy business practices of the front desk to the sleazy «romantic» cabins that dot its cramped landscape, there is one more word that comes to mind – avoid.
