I recently had to make arrangements for my first funeral (thankfully not my own) and am so glad I chose Mahar. The entire staff was nothing short of kind and supportive during this highly emotional time, and took care of everything down to the smallest detail, even making suggestions like having military honors at the funeral. We decided to have the flag presented to my grandfathers favorite nephew, as well as his namesake, and I asked that he not be told in advance. The look on my cousins face made it all worthwhile, and the memories created with the help of the staff made for a beautiful celebration of a great man.
We are incredibly grateful to be allowed to mourn with dignity (and always having a box of tissues within reach)…thank you.
