Not a good experience the owner and massage therapist Amapor was 15 minutes late for our appointment even though she called to confirm a couple of hours prior.
She did not apologize and seemed irritated that I even mentioned the fact that she was late. I would have been much more understanding if I wasn’t her first appointment of the day. Her technique let lots to be desired along with her attitude. I would skip this place in the future– too many other good places to choose from. Total relaxation massage in Hercules much better– Christine is the owner and massage therapist– like night a day and only 10 miles from this farce of a business.

Despite Amparo being late for our appointment she did give me a call to let me
know. & on top of that; she was very apologetic for being late which she then gave me an option between two massage types which she didn’t have to do. I’m so glad I came to her for a massage. She worked wonders with my back that’s been aching for months! I’ll be back sooner than later for another session! Thanks Amparo!

I feel so sad that I only gave one star since I want to support our local businesses, now that I moved back in Benicia. But my experience with Amparo was so horrible I feel I have an obligation so others will not experience the same thing I had. For those who bought their vouchers from groupon and had the same horrible experience you can complain to groupon and they will give your money back.
I feel that Amparo has a distorted perception of reality. She was the one who canceled my appointment at the last minute. She gave me a lame excuse and told me her sheets are still wet. She could have canceled the night before but instead she cancelled it 9:15, my appointment was at 9:30!!!
So do yourself a favor, spare yourself the stress and headache Amparo caused me.
This never happened to me before.

Like I said earlier Amparo seem to have a distorted perception of reality because none of what she was saying was true!!! This is the last time I am going to write my review on her, Amparo has caused me enough frustrations and disappointments.

I called Groupon regarding this and they were very apologetic. and refunded me the money. I told them Amparo should never get paid because she was being deceitful and I had the record on my cell to prove it all.

I was initially part of the Groupon situation that seems to have caused some confusion in the booking process. I finally booked my shiatsu massage, and the therapist, Debbie, was absolutely splendid. She solicited my feedback about problem areas, and several times about the appropriate amount of pressure for me. The massage was terrific, and I left there like a bowl of gelatin. I’ll be back.

The best massage I’ve had in a long time. Amparo was very nice and professional. She helped relieve a lot of the aches and pains I’ve been experiencing since becoming a new mom. The special rates for Kaiser members makes it so affordable. I will definitely be a regular client and I’m telling everyone I know.

Just had an hour massage with Amparo. It was so relaxing. I truly felt pampered, relaxed, and absolutely comfortable. Definitely going back and Kaiser members get an hr for 45. So worth it. Can’t wait till my next massage!

One of the best massages I’ve ever gotten! Amparo has the magic touch. I never use to get massages before but once I went with Amparo it was a done deal and I had to continue going. I love Amparo and I highly recommend her to everyone and if you don’t get her then you’re missing out. She is very outgoing and an overall outstanding individual. She’s funny and spunky and adorable!

Amparo is awsome!. I would highly recommend !! Will go back again. Used as a groupon but was more than satisfied. a little hard to find but not worth a bad review, after all your going for the massage. It was so good I passed out and took a nap.

I just received a massage from Amparo and it was amazing! I carry a lot of tension in my neck, shoulders and back and it’s painful! Amparo has magic hands! She knew exactly where I was tight, used the perfect pressure and after one session has my back feeling much better! She was very good about checking in and making sure everything was feeling good, which I appreciated! I will definitely be going back and recommending her to my friends!

BEST MASSAGE I’VE EVER HAD!!! I have never had anyone give me a massage that was so in tune to what my body needed. I went in with the worst back ache ever, and I left feeling absolutely relieved and amazed. Amparo is an excellent masseuse. The prices are incredibly reasonable especially for the service received. One word…‘AMAZING.’ Amparo has definitely the touch to alleviate my lower and upper back pain. Not only are her prices reasonable but well worth it because of different procedures she’s taken, and from my past experiences, there has not been a time I left unhappy or dissatisfied. As a single parent of two kids, and a full time employee, I am relieved of stress and chronic pain because of her. Amparo is a friendly and understanding person who listens and reacts in such a professional manner. I commend her for her efforts and recommend her services to everyone!

Amparo has been my massage therapist in the Bay Area for the past 6 years. She has helped resolve a lot of my pain issues with sciatica and upper back. Amparo has a way of getting your muscles to relax within the first few minutes of the massage, and then uses her expertise to see what techniques will help. She is a caring person and always listens to what you need. I highly recommend Amparo as an excellent massage therapist whether you are stressed, in pain or just need some pampering.
