This review should have been written back in November when I took the sugaring hair removal class taught by Felicia. I had a one on one teaching and it was Awesome! She is knowledgeable about the art of sugaring and so passionate about her craft. I was able to practice with the models and with her guidance troubleshoot through the difficulties of the «Flickering». I met Felecia through my online mentoring group and really loved her energy and her love for her craft. I come from a waxing background and after a so-​so sugaring training years ago I never went on to really offer it in my office. Hands down the best continued education class I have taken in the past 15 years of being a Licensed Esthetician! I was referred to Felecia by a former co worker who knew I had been looking for a waxing alternative. And as far as sugaring vs. waxing… I am sold! My skin was far smoother and less irritated after being sugared and the regrowth was way slower, the hair way thinner and more sparse than it has ever been after being waxed. THANK YOU FELECIA!!!

I was a little nervous because it was my first time being sugared and Felecia calmed me down and assured me that it would be ok. The environment is very relaxing, the music playing in the background is very soothing and relaxing. She explained the process to me since I am new to the sugaring experience and also explained in detail what to do if my skin doesn’t react well to it. She did an excellent job on my brows, after having the same person wax them for 8 years I was nervous to have anyone else do them, but they look wonderful. I definitely would recommend her.

I usually get waxed (hard wax) on my eyebrows, upper lip and a Brazilian by my regular to go person but she is on maternity leave. I was way over due for a wax so I searched on Unilocal and found Felicia. I’m new to sugaring and Felicia explained to me what it is and how she does it. I am from now on «sugared», I will never go back to waxing and from now on will be sugared lol. I LOVE THE RESULTS AND HOW SMOOTH I FEEL!!! Let’s see how long it lasts :) Cant wait for my next appt in 4 weeks.

I needed a «down under» maintenance for my Canary Islands vaca because the last thing you need in a bikini is a pop-​up porcupine saying, «Hello, you need to shave me!» I called and left the owner with a sad, desperate plea of help, because I was leaving the country last minute and she was closed on a Monday. I read her reviews on Unilocal and I was completely sold and had to have her! Bless my lucky stars and Praise The Lord, she called me back and could be available. Felicia was a pure pro and does the most awesome «sugaring» ever! Being my first time with the process, I was ready to stop the nonsense waxing and have something new and homeopathic. There is barely any pain after and your «little puff pastry» is perfectly sweet after! Don’t hesitate to see this professional «sugaring» genius– she is the best in Benicia!

Felicia taught me everything I know about SUGAR! She certified me as a sugaring specialist in June and she was the best teacher EVER! She really knows how to communicate her knowledge and makes sure you leave confident. This is quite the difficult thing to master and she tells you straight up that you WILL need to practice but she does it in a way that really shows that she cares and has absolute belief in you. Her enthusiasm for what she does really rubbed off on me so I went back about a month later and took her advanced class because I wanted to know everything she knew about sugar in hopes to be a skilled as her one day.
I PRACTICED and PRACTICED and PRACTICED and any question that I had along the way Felicia was right there to cheer me on and give me advice.

I absolutely loved my experience with Felicia! I had my legs and brazilian sugared with her and she is truly the expert! She is super knowledgable, articulate and answer any questions I had about the service. I felt so comfortable being there also. She really cares about her clients, and is passionate about the industry. Personally, I will never go back to waxing because of all the superior benefits to sugaring, and If your looking to be sugared, Felecia is the go to girl.

I’ve been body sugaring for about nine years and Felecia knows her stuff. She is very nice, extremely capable and has office hours to suit most people. If for some reason you are still waxing you are missing the boat. If you live in or near Benicia definitely try Bare Sugaring Studio!

I was a little nervous because I had never been sugared before and its not very often that i get my bikini hair removed (mostly because its so uncomfortable) but Felecia was amazing! I feel very at ease around her– she is positive in a genuine, grounded way and it never occurred to me to be self conscious around her. My only advice is don’t drink coffee before getting sugared because it stimulates your blood circulation and makes you more sensitive.

Love love love!!! Great results that lasts for weeks and Felecia is a gem!!! The atmosphere is relaxed and Felecia is through. She is also extremely knowlegable and strives to give you the optimal results with each visit.

The best place to be sugared. Felecia is professional and cares about her clients. Felecia is the happest and most sweet individual I know. Felicia is amazing at what she does. I had my legs sugared by her and the results were amazing, much better than waxing! Sugaring can get shorter hair, so my results last longer too. Score!
