Wag Bend

We are new dog owners, recently adopting a 1-​year-​old Australian Shepherd mix from the Humane Society, Kota. Kota has already been amazing, so we brought him to Wag to test it out, help socialize him, and to get some extra exercise and energy out! The staff was extremely kind and attentive. The facility is awesome and they have a wonderful method of introducing the new pup to the group of dogs already there. Kota apparently had the best day ever, when we picked him up he wasn’t ready to leave and it took him two days to recover from all the excitement — he was exhausted! We will absolutely be taking him back both for doggy daycare and for boarding when we go on vacation.

My husband and I LOVE Wag Bend. Our dogs know every Friday when we say the word, «Wag» where they are going. Their tails go nuts and they start barking! About a mile away when they see certain landmarks, they start jumping on top of each other going wild! Once there, I don’t even need the leashes because they run right inside. They don’t even say goodbye or have anxiety! They are truly so happy there. The staff is so good to them and always give us excellent customer service.
As for boarding, we were very pleased with it. The first time we used them ever was for boarding as we had an emergency and had to go to California for a funeral right away. They worked with us to get them a practice day immediately. Our dogs were treated with so much love and care. We truly appreciate that they were there for us in a very stressful time.

Absolutely without a doubt the cleanest and best daycare/​boarding facility! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I have been to multiple other daycare and boarding facilities throughout Oregon and Idaho. This is hands down the best I have ever been to. My rambunctious 2 year old Golden Retriever pulls me through the door to spend the day with her doggie and human friends. I think the only reason she leaves at the end of the day is for dinner! I have recommended Justin, his wife, and their wonderful staff to everyone who asks about boarding and daycare in Bend. It is impossible to find a better place!

While my wife and I were displaced for six weeks after a house fire, we had to find a place for our dogs during the day. Wag came to the rescue! They truly love animals and it shows. The indoor and outdoor play areas are fantastic, you can really tell they put the dogs and their parents first, not business. If I could give Wag Bend 10 stars, I would !!!

This place received more than 5 stars in my book. I was in Bend for a conference and on my way home when a family emergency happened. I needed to be at the hospital, and needed a place for my dog while I attended to this situation. I called, and they assured me they would be able to help. They were so very kind, and my little 1.5 year old bundle of energy had a place to stay for the day. We use doggie daycare in Portland as well. The staff was incredible, the facilities were impressive (including access to the outdoors at any point the dogs want to play outside). I cannot thank them enough.

Was looking for a place to take or 2 Golden Retrievers while vacationing in Sunriver, after all, it’s their vacation too. Our 10 month old boy isn’t neutered yet (waiting till he is 1) and many places won’t take un-​neutered males older than 7 months. Wag Bend was very accommodating, they get it, all dogs are different. They said it would be fine to bring him over, if there were issues they would call us to come pick him up. We called to check on them after about 2 hours and the staff said they were doing fine and they were great dogs. Lexi and Micah have been back several times since and love it. They come home very tired, which is a good thing for energetic Golden Retrievers.

Wag bend is the best! This is the only place in Bend that we are comfortable leaving our dogs! They come home happy every time, whether they are there for daycare or overnight boarding. The employees care about our pups like they’re family. Thanks wag bend!

We were staying just outside of Sunriver, camping for about a week with our pup Kona. One day during our stay we planned on attending the Bend Brewfest and wanted a solution to keep our dog occupied for a long day alone vs being left in the trailer with the A/​C running all day. We used Unilocal to search for for places that were recommended, and found Wag Bend. I gave them a call, explaining our situation and they emailed me all the paperwork to fill out and once we were in town we showed up to drop Kona off and their staff were extremely polite and professional, they explained how everything would work and put us at ease for leaving our pup with them. We left and enjoyed our day experiencing Bend Brewfest worry free and upon picking Kona up, we got a report on his experience and he came out very happy and exhausted (in a good way) from all the play. We would highly recommend this place to others and will definitely use it again in the future.

This place is great. The owner is fantastic and I will bring my 4.5 month gsd here every time we come. It’s clean, safe, and they care. This is a nice respite while we climb and our pup had a blast. We met other dogs and we watched her interact. It was so great to see a business owner who really cares. Good for them!

Toby gets to play with his canine buddies about once a week, and he absolutely loves going. Justin and all the other humans are very welcoming and know all the dogs by name. I know I can trust Toby in their care and recommend Wag Bend highly

I have been taking my Beagle here for about 6 months. Yoshi was never very friendly and had major separation anxiety when he first began to go. I was fairly new to Oregon and had to take him somewhere because I was starting a new job. I was unable to leave him home as he would eat the furniture (he’s a rescue and I had major issues with him but love him to death even though he ate like 4 chairs lol) I gradually began seeing him interact more with people and other dogs there. The staff knew how he was and worked closely with him. I cannot believe the change in him and how excited he is to go there 5 days a week. I am so grateful that he is more socialized and way calmer than before. Justin and his wife Lesley are great Owners and I couldn’t be happier. I love all the staff and I can tell Yoshi loves it which makes me very happy. I highly recommend Wag Bend.

Safe secure dog boarding in a fun environment! Their new location is super convenient for us, and has a great indoor and outdoor space for the dogs to mosh. The outside has artificial turf, so my dog’s foot pads don’t get thrashed like some of the outdoor dog boarding places we’ve tried. No worries about cheat grass either, and the outdoor fencing is high with no places for our dog to dig under and out.
The sleeping accommodations are very nice little enclosed rooms with raised cots for their beds. My dog loves sleeping off the ground (the higher the better), and prefers her own private space at night, so it’s perfect for her.
I’m so glad we found this place! I love that I don’t have to worry about my dog while I’m on vacation.

The EASIEST daycare experience ever. Call or email ahead of time to let them know you’re heading out there. Get there, fill out some paperwork, then your dog is ready to play! We live in Eugene and visit Bend often. It’s so great to have a place now that we can use every time we visit! Rufus had the best time and he is absolutely exhausted from playing for 6 hours while we went to Mt. Bachelor for the day. $ 26 for a full day of playing. Good deal!

Justin and his wife are great. They understand dog behavior and that makes for a group of happy and health dogs. Keep up the great work!
