Sam did an incredible job with my wife and I in our first home purchase. We did not understand much of the process and had a ton of questions being first time home buyers. Sam always responded to our questions via text or email very quickly with enough detail that we didn’t have to follow up.
Sam made our offer appealing among many other offers without us having to offer much over asking for a property that was appraised at $ 10,000 above the listing price. We are very satisfied with the price we paid by comparison to other properties we found.
Our loan process was a nightmare, but Sam was able to ease our minds and when things almost fell through, he contacted our lender and made sure everything would be pushed through in time for closing.
After we got the keys to the house, the house was a mess. The previous owner left it very dirty and left a lot of large items that were garbage to us. He contacted the selling agent and got them to pay for the time and cost of getting everything to the dump.
He turned a horrible experience into a great one for my wife and I. We are very satisfied with our home and will definitely use Sam as our agent in all future sales and purchases whenever possible.

My husband first met Sam DeLay months before I did. That’s because I didn’t want to move. Finally, I was coerced into meeting Sam and I too fell quickly into a trusting relationship with this man who never pressured, always listened, showed so much patience and acceptance. What I appreciate about him as much as anything is he is so positive, highest integrity, and always leaves me feeling happier after talking to him. And when you hire Sam, you also get the TEAM behind him and they back each other up in very valuable ways with designer talent, home construction talent and vast years of local expertise. Maureen Kohal was available, willing, and passionate to help us with design choices. She was so insightful and helped us get past indecision & struggle on many fronts. I LOVE HER CONFIDENCE! Our neighbor had Maureen as their realtor and were so pleased. We feel it was truly a blessing and a gift to have had Sam handle our home selection.

Buying a home in Bend seemed like just a dream, until My husband and I were referred to Same Delay. Sam went above and beyond for us and we gave him a run for his money. =) Working with us for almost 1 year; he guided us through 4 different home transactions, (3 didn’t go through for home inspection complications.)He stayed positive and kept us going the entire time, but was never pushy, like some Realtors can be, he really listened to our wants and needs and and stayed very patient. He treated us like friends, talking with us, never down to us, making us really feel like he was taking the best care he could. He even entertained and made «friends“with our twin 3.5 year olds.

Purchasing a home in Bend, while living out of state, can be a daunting process. From our first meeting while visiting Bend last spring, it was obvious to us that Maureen Kohal is a true professional who keeps the interests and well being of her clients as her top priority.
