History
Established in 2004.
Seed Landscape Design originally started as Bija Landscape Design in 2004. Bija, a Sanskrit work for seed, was a nod to my love of yoga and idea that every great garden starts with a seed of inspiration.
My professional landscape experience began in 2000 while wearing a suit and working in a high-rise for an advertising agency in downtown SF. It was there, in my office, that I realized I wanted to rekindle my love of and direct my creative energies towards gardening and landscape design. I started evening classes in landscape architecture, in San Francisco, and before the end of my first class I was hooked. Since then I have worked for many different landscape architects and landscape contractors and I have spent four years working at a local SF plant nursery. I have years of experience working under some brilliant Bay Area gardeners and designers.
