Rachel Foss

It has been ages since I have been happy with my hair! Going to Rachel has changed all that! She has helped restore my hair to a healthy state and every time I go to see her I leave feeling great. Definitely recommend for cut and color!

I moved to Bend, OR a little over 2 years ago and was thiiis close to just throwing my hands up in the air and buying a wig or something. Nobody in Central Oregon seemed to be capable of a) listening to and comprehending what I wanted, or b) more importantly, executing my wishes.
Granted, I have very fine hair and like funky color, but still… come on, it was getting ridiculous. I literally wore a hat for three months.
And then… I got extremely lucky and my sister in law in CA sent me a gift certificate for a cut and color with Rachel for Xmas. I have never, and I mean never been this happy with a salon experience. Rachel listened, babied my fine hair, made sure the red was perfect, gave me an adorable, easy to style cut, and I walked out of there feeling like a million bucks.
She definitely has a new fan and loyal client in me as I will be returning, and won’t let anyone else touch my hair lest I need break out the ratty old hat again. Thank you so much Rachel!

Rachel has been doing my hair for 4 or 5 years now. I used to skip around to different hair stylists and was never happy. She saved my hair! Literally. I had gotten a horrible haircut somewhere else and she swooped in with her fancy scissors and spray and fixed what was a disaster.
She can do long and short hair and knows what styles will fit different faces. We recently cut 18 inches off my hair and I love it! Wish I had done it sooner!
I love her. I will never go to anyone else.

I have been going to Rachel Foss for over 4 years now. I always get a partial and a hair cut. It always turns out amazing and she always helps me pick out good products for my hair. I recently moved to Las Vegas 1 year ago and I have been to multiple hair stylists here in this city and have yet to find a hair stylist that even comes close to Rachel Foss. I noticed that there is a review on here that gave Rachel a 1 star and I find it very hard to believe that someone would rate her any lower than a 5 star. She pays really close attention to detail and I can tell that she takes pride in her work. I would recommend her to anyone! I always look forward to getting my hair done on my trips back home to Bend.

Rachel Foss is hands down the best hairstylist in Central Oregon. She styled my hair to where I want it and used top of the line Matrix products when she did my hair. It made my hair nice and silky smooth. Whoever this S.C. person is, was obviously drunk when she wrote this review. I HIGHLY recommend Rachel to anyone. I would have her cute my 70 year old mother’s hair and my daughter’s hair who I will bring in soon. Thank you so much Rachel!

Hands down the worst haircut I have ever received. I could have had a few cocktails and done this myself. The layers are not blended (as requested and «guaranteed») and my hair is more unmanageable than ever. I would not recommend Rachel to anyone.

Just recently started going to Rachel as I have difficult to style hair. She did a great job and gave me a great style that I feel confident going out with.

I highly recommend Rachel! Very professional, friendly and knows what she is doing! I have been driving to Portland for my hair cuts and color and really wanted to find someone I could trust in Bend. Rachel has been doing my hair for the past 4 years. I literally will not let anyone else touch it. When I first started going to Rachel, I was coming out of a terrible dye job of Blonde to Brunette. My hair was damaged, had tons of breakage and basically looked like I hadn’t taken care of it in 15,613 years. It certainly didn’t help that I didn’t know how to take care of my hair and the never-​ending list of hair care products that I acquired under my sink over the years most definitely looked like the place where hair care products went to die. She showed me what was best for my hair type and for my specific damage control — she never tries to up-​sell me on products that I won’t use or don’t need. Once I let Rachel have a crack at my hair, it was game over. I drive all the way from Portland, OR to Bend, OR just so that Rachel can do it. The thing that I appreciate the most about Rachel is that I can tell her like it is and she won’t try to pressure me to have my hair a way that I don’t want, like some stylists do. She does an especially amazing job at keeping the length of my hair; which is critically important to me — since I have had such a terrible and «hard to shake» relationship with breakage. Rachel is AWESOME!

I have been going to Rachel for over 5 years now for my hair and facial waxing. I met her when she was still in beauty school and the first time she did my hair I knew instantly she would be my stylist for life.
Rachel is AMAZING at her job. Yes, she is sweet, adorable, personable and funny, but what you want to know is, «Is she good at her job?» My answer… YES! She is better than good. She has made me blond, a red head, browns, and blacks. She has done high lights and low lights. One time we were feeling adventurous and she cut off all of my hair and gave me a pixie cut. SHE CAN DO ANYTHING.
I also love the way she does my eyebrows when waxing. I have tried many people (she had gone on maternity leave) and no one can make brows as amazing as her.
If you want people to stop on the street and say, «DAMN GIRL/​BOY! Your hair looks amazing!» then go see Rachel.
Also, my 5 year old goes to her. She is great with kids and makes them feel comfortable and calm. She’s super affordable, too!
