Jiffy Lube

Got my oil change at this Jiffy Lube in October 2015. It’s now almost March of 2016. Two weeks after my oil change my car broke down on the side of the road. Towed the car to the closest dealer to have them look at it. The dealer looked at it and found the oil filter had been installed wrong. The repair cost was estimated at over $ 12,000.00. I filed a claim with Jiffy Lube in November and they took over two months to turn it over to their insurance, who then took another month to determine the car was a total loss. This Jiffy Lube is insured by Nationwide. Nationwide is not on your side they are on Jiffy Lubes side.
If you go here for your oil change be sure to ask if they have ever worked on your type of car.
Ask if the they actually filled the oil.
Ask if they installed the oil filter correctly.
Be safe and go somewhere else.

Terrible customer service. I was on a coast to coast roadtrip and needed an oil change. They forgot to reattach the plastic undercarriage cover. I figured it out 60 miles down the road after it had been scraping and making noises. I called them multiple times to see every they would do ace all they did was circle around the questions and telling me that they would get back to me but never did. I should have filled a complaint to Jiffy Lube but I was so perturbed that I wanted nothing to do with the company. Unfortunately this will be the last time I will go to a jiffy lube. This happened summer of 2014. I’m a little late on the review but felt the need to write it.

The greatest Jiffy Lube ever!
My wife and I were on a month long road trip and needed to get our rental car’s oil changed. We stopped at the Jiffy Lube in Bend on a Tuesday afternoon and they explained that the rental car used a synthetic oil and it would cost $ 72 to change. I called up Hertz and they said they would pay over the phone. So being from NY, I thought this was never gonna work because if I tried something like this in NYC they would never have the patience to talk to Hertz and instead just tell me to go somewhere else or to go #&%@ off. Well, the friendly and helpful staff in Bend couldn’t have been more patient and accommodating with us. They actually stayed on the phone with Hertz for over 20 minutes and filled out all the paper work in order to bill the oil change to Hertz. We were amazed, I thought they were going to tell us that this was too much trouble and to go somewhere else, but they were so professional and courteous. Maybe, I’m just not used to this kind of customer service coming from NYC, but this place and the staff were really great and turned what could have been a really stressful situation into a great experience.

Brand-​new car. Oil change was performed and started leaking immediately. Noticed it on my driveway and in my garage. When you change the oil don’t spill it all over the place. Act like you have some skill and know what you’re doing. Wiper fluid was empty when I got home they never checked it. Disappointed. It’s just an oil change. I’ll do it myself next time. Update: three days later took the vehicle to Toyota who found four bolts missing over the plates that protect the underside of the engine. They verified that Oil was spilled all over the engine, suspension and undersurface. The FJ is less than a year old. Lost me as a customer.

I used to have my jeep and truck services here regularly. However I just plain out got tired of being hassled! They up sell you on everything and pretend your an idiot if you don’t agree. I was told I needed my radiator flushed because it was full of dirt and they wanted almost $ 200! To flush my radiator! I took it home and did it myself In 10 minutes and it was clean! Another week they hassled me about my jeeps differential. They went on and on about how dirty the fluid was and how it’s stupid of me to not have them take care of it… I had just had BOTH my differentials replaced a few weeks prior to this! I took it back to the mechanic who did the work and he showed me it was all clean. He also said that he gets a lot of people who come in and ask questions due to things jiffy lube had told them. They are NOT professional mechanics so don’t listen to them when they try and sell you something, get a second opinion.

I’ve been bringing our vehicles here for about seven years. The service is normally okay, though it can’t hold A candle to the Jiffy Lube at Murray and Cornell in Portland. That said, I’m going to find another place for the routine maintenance of our four vehicles.
This is the third or fourth time I’ve been told the wait would be only so long, just to find it to be three or four times as long. All the while watching cars that came in behind me being serviced.
Moreover, it was the manager’s attitude that made me call it quits. How he can possibly act as if the situation is my fault I’ll never know.
I doubt the revenue from our four vehicles will be missed. But at least I’ll have the satisfaction of knowing I’m not rewarding poor service.

Fast, reasonable and courteous. Seems like a good team of people working well together. Didn’t have the filter I needed resulting in minor delay so gave me a discount.

Nothing short of a three ring circus. Wanted just oil and filter change. 52 minutes later as we sat in the car and listened to them try to upsell us on many things and we kept saying, we JUST want the oil changed. They yell at each other in a military manner and work like robots. It’s just a strange situation. We too were told we needed to spend the extra on synthetic oil till I finally cut them the off and said we are leaving! I asked my hubby what star I should give and he said one, he’s the generous one and he was so irritated.
Next day after our car wasn’t running right, we took it to the mechanic and the technician opened our air filter box and we told him not to and when he put it back together he caught cable wires. Seriously!

Great service here. A little busy so it took a while to get in but that’s likely because they do such a good job. Price was fair and people were nice.

What’s to say? Courteous, professional, great coupons and I love staying in my car. I called several locations to compare pricing and most wanted double. At Wilson and 3^rd. Can’t be beat. I’ll be back for sure!

Quickest oil change I’ve ever had. Minimal upsell. Great price without extra fees tacked on. Waiting room has tv, coffee, and popcorn. Found my new spot to get my oil changed.

First time taking my car anywhere other than the dealership that I bought her at; 20 mins later I was happily on my way. They also cleaned my windshield for me, and they have other services like changing the air filter (they took it out & showed me so that I could see how dirty it was), and windshield wiper replacement. As a complete newbie to this whole process, they were professional, courteous, & politely answered all of my ridiculous newbie questions. A+ Jiffy Lube!

My oil change took only about 20 minutes. Prices are very fair. They vacuumed my car and washed my windows, too. And there’s free popcorn in the lobby. This place rocks!

The customer service here was better than most areas. The pricing for an oil change was cheaper than anywhere else that we found on our cross-​country road-​trip. The service was quick. The guy who took care of us made us some good recommendations about places to see in the area. They escorted us in, opened the door for us, and escorted us out and opened our car doors for us. Luxury service. I was indeed impressed.
The only problem was that when we left we drove straight to the gas station nearby and my bf noticed the front tire looked a little flat. I said, «how can it be flat when they just checked them all?!» I claimed that it looked that way because we were parked on uneven ground. Derp. We drove to the Redwoods to go camping and got a flat tire going downhill!!! I was so thankful that we were in an area with cell phone service and I was able to coast into a gas station and call AAA. Otherwise it could have been A LOT worse and we would have lost a lot of travel time in a potentially dangerous situation.

We are from the Bay Area and road tripping through Oregon. Had an oil leak and stopped at Jiffy Lube in Bend, Oregon. Guys were amazing. Helped out and gave us all their attention. Wish California Jiffys did the same. Thank you guys at Jiffy Lube for your support.

These guys are great. Quick efficient service. In and out. Didn’t upsell me which I really appreciate.
