Specialties

ReStore is a used and surplus building supply outlet, offering a huge selection of building material, appliances and furniture at 50−75% off regular retail prices. Donate and shop: windows, doors, furniture, cabinets and appliances to lumber, flooring, paint, tile, lighting, plumbing, electrical, heating & hardware. It’s a dream come true for contractors, landlords, do-it-yourselfers, and all of us who love a good bargain! All ReStore proceeds benefit Bend Area Habitat for Humanity.

History

Established in 1997.

The Bend ReStore is one of over 800 stores and counting, operated in four countries by local Habitat for Humanity Affiliates.

The Bend ReStore opened in 1997 at Pakit Liquidators. Pat Korish, Pakit’s owner, gave the ReStore its start when he designated 500 square feet of his own retail space to Habitat to accept and sell donations of new and used building supplies and household goods.

Today the ReStore is located on 3rd Street (Highway 97) across from Robberson Ford and Wagner Mall, with approximately 18,000 sf of retail space.

The success of the ReStore is a credit to the community. Local suppliers, businesses, contractors and homeowners are increasingly generous in donating new and used materials. Habitat families, putting in their «sweat equity» hours; local volunteers; organizations, including the National Guard Oregon Youth Challenge Program and Heart of Oregon; and community service workers help staff the store and process donations.
