Fairfield Inn & Suites Bend Downtown

Let me just say that Brad at the front desk really knows his stuff! He made check in super easy and fulfilled our requests promptly, with a great attitude. Besides that, the beds were like pillows, the rooms clean and smelled good, and breakfast was great! I will definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting bend.

Great rooms and lobby. They let our team use the common area for dinner and hanging out. The beds a very very soft which is not my favorite but better than super firm. Breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast. Great location that has easy access to freeway. Would be happy to stay here again

Nice and clean hotel for a low end Marriott property. Rooms are small and east facing rooms are very noisey from highway traffic. Request a west facing room for less noise. Would book again when in town for work, but highly prefer the Hilton Garden Inn.

I have always had a good experience at the Fairfield in Bend. This time the front desk staff was SUPER helpful, going way out of his way to help me find some things I forgot to pack. After driving all day, the last thing I wanted to do was go out to find a store. Thanks!

This place is a dump! Small rooms and they don’t upgrade gold members like they should. Lots of road noise from freeway and way over priced! I wished I would have stayed somewhere else. After being a gold member for many years, I’m asking myself why I continue to stay a Marriott as often as I do.

Super friendly staff. Very accommodating and eager to help and make us feel at ease, and at home. We arrived very early, so we expected to have to leave our bags at the office (versus in our rooms). Instead, the front desk did all they could to find an open and clean room for us (even hours before checkin!). We were able to set ourself in the room and go about our business without worrying about time constraints. Besides that, their free hot breakfast was a treat! Very rare in the hotel world. Nice pool and hot tub, great location right downtown. Rather quiet too. Clean and highly recommended! Thank you!

During my stay, I had no complaints. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was fine, room was clean and nice. However, we were in a rush to check out in the morning and we realized that we had left a baby onesie outfit (my first gift as an expectant mother that my friend gave me that weekend), and a phone charger, and a planner (large calendar/​binder type thing) in the room. My friend and I called that night as well as several days in a row after that, and were basically given the run around by several people that we talked to on the phone.
They claimed that the items would be in another «department» (housekeeping) and might take up to 2 – 3 days to be «logged» and then sent up to the front desk. First of all, this makes no sense. It is not a huge hotel, couldn’t someone just walk down to the housekeeping area and see if the items were there? After several days of calling, no one returning our calls, etc we were finally told that «the items were not found.» Okay so… what happened then? Did you throw away all three of these things? Or did your staff steal them? (which is really odd because they have very little monetary value, but are very personally/​sentimentally important to us).
We never got an acceptable answer to why they «didn’t find» anything. We know the three items were left in the room. I will never stay here again and will recommend the same to my friends and colleagues. Completely unacceptable and they seem to not care about their customers. My friend now has to replace her planner but is worried about the personal info that was in the one she left there, and I will never be able to replace the special baby gift that was given to me.

Amor Chan, the manager, is exceptional — friendly, fun, and accomodated my need for a room change to the back side. The East-​facing rooms are a little noisy from the highway.
Another high mark: TV channel changing is fast with no less than 15 noncommercial HBO channels! Still no Guide though so you don’t know what’s coming up.
The free breakfast is standard fair. All Marriott hotels need to upgrade their cut fruit compote, it’s awfull.

Good location but not really downtown. It’s a 15 min walk to the main strip.
Staff are great and very friendly.
Pool and hot tub are great too but we had to ask them to heat the pool as it was freezing for the first 2 days.
We stayed a week and used it as a base for mt. Bachelor skiing.
The main con which everyone agreed on was the breakfast. Very average and they constantly ran out of stuff — eggs, yogurt, cheese, oatmeal. We even had to ask most days for milk. The ran out of coffee too. One excuse was they ran out eggs (maybe I also run out of money to pay for the room! :)??? This is the reason for the 3 stars. Other than this it gets 4 or even 5…

I was absolutely shocked when we checked into this place. Super great location, everything inside looks brand new although the hotel is 8 years old. Hot tub was practically empty every night we stayed and super great price! Also, comes with breakfast. Amar (Amor?), the lady at the front desk, was so friendly and helpful! She really made our stay enjoyable. Would stay again.

excellent stay. everything was perfect — quiet, clean. the concierge was awesome. i wish i would’ve caught her name — long wavy brown hair. she was really nice and professional.
beware, the sign for the hotel is really small. we missed the turn on the first go-​around.
also, i wish there were some sound dampeners in the indoor pool/​hot tub area. if you get a couple boisterous kids in there, the sound echos so loudly you can barely hear yourself think.
otherwise it’s great. it’s a little bit of a walk from downtown, but not too far. the lobby is nice, everything is modern… we had a great time here.

What can I say. We picked the wrong weekend (auto show and girl’s soccer tournament) and just got ripped off big time. Paid $ 200 for, what by all standards, should be, at best a $ 129 room. That being said, the front desk was courteous, the rooms were clean and there was overall Fairfield quality.
Oh, the breakfast was a loser and the kids kept us up all night. If you plan to stay, make sure its not a tournament weekend.

Check in was smooth. The rooms here are very clean and don’t smell, that’s a huge plus. The beds are very comfortable, and they offer pillow options, I like that. The continental breakfast is better than most, with great options. It was quiet!

Stayed here on the night before Thanksgiving and got a good deal for $ 78 from kayak for a room with 2 double beds. The hotel looks pretty new as it has been recently renovated and the décor is pretty nice.
They also serve a full breakfast with plenty of good options like a sausage sandwich, fresh scrambled eggs, oatmeal, cereals, make yourself waffles and Seattles best coffee, juices etc.
Overall very satisfied with the cleanliness of the rooms, the price and the awesome breakfast.

When I called for a same day reservation the person who answered the phone, Amanda, was so nice and happy to help out. When my son and I checked in a couple hours later Amanda was still there and as happy as could be. The lobby looks fantastic, lots of bright colors and very inviting. The room was nice too. Not a huge room, but comfortable enough for me and my 7-​year old son. He thought it was the best hotel room ever! The pool was small, but there were not a lot of guests using it so it worked out fine. Breakfast was good. Not a huge variety to choose from, but the standard cereal, yogurt, fruit, waffles, eggs, and sausage.
Really enjoyed our stay and would surely stay at the Fairfirld again.

I actually thought this place was pretty darn good for a business trip. The staff was incredibly helpful and polite, the room was comfortable — with a very large mini fridge that held the contents of my stuffed cooler and a freezer that was actually large enough and cold enough to refreeze all of my ice packs every night I was there. (I was there to sell cheese)
It is clean, modern, has a nice little workout room and an indoor pool and hottub! I plan on staying here on all future work trips. Unless of course I can get my boss to spring for Sunriver resort! LOL!

Rooms were comfy enough.
They had a badass mini fridge– always a plus.
Workout room was alright– two cardio machines, bench and dumbbells to 50lbs.
Indoor pool and hot tub– both decent-​sized and free of children
The best part I think, was its proximity to the river, and the downtown area. It was a nice and refreshing walk.
Breakfast is the standard FI treatment.
