Elevation, the restaurant is wonderful! I like great food + an opportunity to help a community.
LUNCH is available for take out and, com’on, COCC is just minutes from downtown.
I walked into a hall redolent with the yeasty smells of fresh baked bread. I had the fresh tomato salad with a delicious goat cheese/​pinko breaded &fried goat cheese nugget… creamy, crisp and yummy.
The entrée was halibut & fresh corn tacos with a slaw.
Dessert is different every day… we had a crisp chocolate cookie topped by a nicely rich chocolate mousse AND a not-​to-​be-​missed raspberry sorbet.
The wait-​staff rotates between kitchen and front of the house, depending on school session. Outside patio dining under shade trees is very pleasant.
Open by reservation (or call in for take out), lunch or dinner on W, Th, F.

The food was excellent, ambiance excellent, service was moderately professional (students in training) but very well intentioned. The fixe menu was limited but offered great choices. I would return. Request the chef’s table if you enjoy dining in the kitchen.

Cascade Culinary Institute is awesome! Their brand new state of the art culinary center just opened to students this week and I’m excited to visit «Elevation» their new student run restaurant.
