Bend Taxi Company & Shuttle Service

You guys were right on time (only 15 minutes at that!) and Beau was so friendly and fun to talk to. I want to request Beau every time :)
I’m looking at the previous reviews now and think maybe my cab came quickly because business is slow due to poor reviews. Hey guys, this stock is low. Strong BUY recommendation!

If there were zero stars that’s what this company would get. We were told X amount of time before a pick up. After a significantly longer amount of time we called for an update. After three «disconnections» we called the driver directly. He informed us the dispatcher was intentionally hanging up on us bc they knew they were running behind. Worst. Taxi. Company. EVER!

They are the worst cab company.
I usually go with Taxis of Bend because they are reliable and friendly and they take care of their regulars. These guys are so rude, one driver is a drug addict. I got one guy, young looking, who was so rude. I’m good at paying and even tipping. I went from COCC to Freddie’s to Walmart and Back and that guy charged me $ 97!!! Sorry but no place in Bend cost that much. Plus he was so disrespectful. My credit card wasn’t working, forgot to activate. My bad. I told him come back in the morning and I’ll take care of it because I don’t take advantage of taxis. I know better. Instead two cops show up and I’m sick btw and say this guy wants his money. Well I call my dad because I only have $ 80 and he lends me his card info blah blah. The guy says the first card doesn’t work. I call to get another one and he says I’m charging $ 105 because that’s what it was when I got out of the car. He had the meter going while I struggle to find a good card! WTF?! These guys suck. My dad later sees there’s been charges to his card that he hasn’t done and neither have I. This company is scum. They rip you off, are late, rude and disrespectful. Go with taxis of Bend if you want to get somewhere on time and be treated with respect and not cheated out of money.

Please do not trust early morning airport service with them!
Perhaps they need a better reservation system, but we scheduled a pick up for 3:30am to the airport. By 3:35am they can not come, so we called. Got some mumble-​jumble about it maybe being 3:45am, so we waited. STILL no one showed.
Its a good thing we had a back-​up plan to get to the airport, or else flights would have been missed. What is one to do at 3:30am when your cab does not show? Its not like you can just call a friend.
Cab company made NO effort to make it right, did not apologize or offer any type of help.
We will be using EnviroShuttle instead from now on. Its too bad, as we used Bend Cab many times as we commute to LAX frequently. They lost a valuable customer.

I was in Bend over the weekend and I called around 9:30 Saturday evening for a cab. Someone answered the phone. I advised I needed a cab and they asked for my location which I gave. They said ok, it’d be around 30 minutes and hung up. With Brewfest going on, I understood it would be busy. However, It was strange that they didn’t ask for my name, were I was going or a contact number to contact me back.
After 45 muinutes of waiting, still no cab. I tried calling the same number back again, numerous times and would continue to geta «busy» signal. Needless to say, the cab never showed up, think it would have been nice to let me know that there was a slim to NO chance of them not coming and I got to spend a lovely evening at home.
Never again.

Don’t bother trying to get a cab or courteous service from thus company. When i called back to check on the status of our cab that was 20 minutes later than expected, the dispatcher acted like i was a nuisance even asking for a cab in the first place. When I told him he was being rude, he told me to find a cab somewhere else and hung up.
I would never recommend this cab service based on this appalling experience.

The drivers are friendly and most of them seem to drive safely, but quickly. The cabs I’ve taken are clean and smell pleasant. Also, the drivers I’ve had pick me up pretty quickly. My average wait is like 5 – 10 mins. Very impressive.
My biggest complaint is pricing. They charge like $ 3 per mile, and it can get pricey at times.

I had to take a cab from the airport and back to the airport while recently in Bend. Both were pre-​arranged rides and both times the driver was early, his car was older but very clean, and both drivers were friendly and non-​scary (in driving skills and personality).
I would definitely use this company again if needed.
