All Around Mobile Detail

I found Ryan on craigslist. I bought an old and neglected Subaru my wife refused to sit in b/​c it was «slimey» and smelled. I have a habit of buying old cars and needing them detailed once to get the car to the point where I can manage keeping it pretty clean. I didn’t have the courage to tackle this myself so I found a pro.
I had Ryan come to my house to do a full interior detail which also included a quick exterior wash. He comes prepared with all the tools of the trade (carpet shampoo machine, chemicals, clean clothes/​rags, brushes etc). The interior detail was shampooing everything and cleaning all the interior surfaces, door jambs, etc. I also had the engine cleaned. He was responsive from the initial craigslist contact and following up to confirm appointments.
I knew I had scored when I walked out to my garage and saw Ryan sitting on the floor with a bunch of interior trim parts outside of the car. He took everything out and cleaned it to a T, every fold, crack, crevice. The inside of the car was REALLY clean. I knew it wasn’t going to look brand new but the seats were scrubbed very clean and the smell was gone. I think he likely raised the value of the car by a few hundred bucks (if I were selling it) from what I just paid.
I would not hesitate to use him again. I know my wife will want her car done when she sees my *new* car. I’m pretty sure he could do an exterior buff/​clay/​wax just as confidently.
Prices are reasonable. I quoted out the detail at a few shops and people on craigslist and All Around was pretty consistent in pricing (lower than a shop with a storefront, but about the same as the other craigslist vendors).
Overall, it was a great experience. Ryan is a nice guy, comes preparred, is respectful, confirms and asks for opinions, points out potential issues and does a fine job. Recommended!
