Cooper & Bush Physical Therapy focuses its care on general orthopedic, sports, and spine rehabilitation. Clinical staff information is attached, or can be found at www​.cooper​bushpt​.com.

All patients will have their initial evaluation performed by a Licensed Physical Therapist. During all sessions at Cooper & Bush Physical Therapy, the patient will work with their Licensed Physical Therapist or Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. The Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant will only provide services as specified in the physical therapy plan of care developed by the Licensed Physical Therapist. Rehab Techs are only used to provide assistance to the supervising LPT or LPTA.

Cooper & Bush Physical Therapy accepts most Managed Care, Workers Compensation, and Medicare plans, including Medicare Advantage plans. Established in 1995.

Cooper & Bush Physical Therapy was established in 1995 by W Van Bush PT DPT and Jeff Cooper PT. In January 2014, W. Van Bush PT DPT became the sole proprietor for this facility, and is remaining at the original southwest location, 6080 Southwest Blvd, 76 109.

Business Owner

W. VAN BUSH, PT DPT, holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Hardin Simmons University. Van graduated from Texas A & M University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Science in 1985. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University in 1988. After practicing in the San Antonio area, since 1991, Van has held positions as a corporate clinical director and in 1995 opened Cooper & Bush Physical Therapy along with Jeff Cooper PT. As of January 2014, Van is the sole proprietor for this facility. His primary emphasis is on the treatment of orthopedic spine rehabilitation. His education has continued to focus in the treatment of back and neck injuries. Van has completed the Impairment Rating — Technical Component course as required by the TWCC guidelines. Van currently holds Clinical Instructor Certification and is a site instructor for students from many universities in the US. He has also been the clinical instructor for a PT Int
