We carry a full line of Seaspray and Doughboy Above Ground Pools, Dimension One Spas, Great Lakes and Nordic Hot Tubs. History

Established in 1965.

Russell and Patricia Wolter started the business in 1965 literally from their garage. Russ installed a pool in his own yard and as he installed more pools, there was a demand for chemicals and accessories: a retail store was born! Pat and her daughters, Kim, Julie, and Lori, worked the store. In 1970, they outgrew the garage and moved to an adjacent parcel of land to accommodate the company’s growth. In July of 2001, they moved into a new 10,000 square foot facility just blocks from the original location. It consists of a 6000 sq. ft showroom and retail space and approximately 4000 sq. ft warehouse. The showroom has above ground pools, spas, saunas, toys, BioGuard Chemicals, fully stocked parts room and pool and spa accessories. In 2007 Kim Wolter and Tom Larson purchased the business from Pat and Russ Wolter. Pat and Russ still help out and the core of the company remains the same. Wolter Pools and Spas is a family owned business serving families since 1965.

Kim literally grew up in the business. When Pat and Russ first ran the store out of their garage, Kim and her sisters could be seen eating breakfast in the breezeway every morning! She worked hard to help her parents grow the business over the years and today with her brother-​in-​law Tom Larson, she owns Wolter Pools and Spas. She is active in St. Johns Lutheran Church in Beloit and started the annual fun run to support faith in learning. This has been a great fundraiser for the church as well. Kim works in the store and can be seen talking with customers or unloading a truck. With her hands on approach to running the store, she is always around to offer advice or support.
