Beloit Bicycle Company

After a recommendation from a friend, I recently took a trip from Chicago to Beloit to bring my 40 year old road bike into Beloit Bicycle Company for repairs. The owner, Greg, went above and beyond to help me in subsequent weeks. First, he was incredibly helpful and patient with all my questions. He’s friendly and clearly loves what he does. (It was great to hear that his parents ran a bike shop and he’s been working on bikes and cars since he was a kid.) After I left my bike with him, he researched and priced out parts, some of which weren’t standard and were hard to find. Afterwards, he let me know how much it would cost and gave me all the info I needed to decide on whether to repair my bike or invest in a new one. I decided on the latter. Based on my riding needs and my rather limited budget, he tracked down an awesome bike that fit the bill perfectly. It was a relief to not have to research and obsess over what to buy and have an experienced trustworthy guy like Greg figure it out for me. I couldn’t be more happy with my experience at Beloit Bicycle Company.

This owner doesn’t back kids bikes on warranty so make sure that you have better judgement before buying for your child. Also, not to great a selection for ladies bikes, mostly geared for men/​limited stock for your female sports cyclist.
