Dr. Craig Spangler bought an existing optometric practice in Belmont in 1977. His particular areas of
interest are in fitting contact lenses and treating eye infections and injuries.
Dr. Spangler is married to Dr. Gayle Spangler who has a Doctor of Ministry degree from Erskine Theological Seminary. She has served on several Church staffs and has served as a hospital Chaplain at four area hospitals.
The Spangler’s have one daughter, Angela, who works as the front office assistant and Dr. Spangler’s office.
Dr. Spangler has been on numerous medical mission trips Honduras. he examines eyes and eyeglasses are fitted to help people who have limited financial resources.
