Larisa offers Chinese and Japanese acupuncture, as well as acupuncture without needles. Needle free acupuncture is very gentle, nevertheless it produces great results and people who are not comfortable with needles really appreciate it. Moxibustion and cupping are often used as part of the treatment. Nutritional recommendations based on your acupuncture diagnosis offered when needed.
The main disorders treated are: anxiety, depression, pain of any kind, digestive problems, cancer patient support, sleep disorders, stress, women’s health, including fertility, pregnancy, painful and/or irregular periods, lack of periods, menopause. Also, many people come for tune ups to boost their immune system, when they feel a little «off», want to get centered, or are in the process of making a big decision.
History
Established in 2012.
Larisa Rich graduated from New England School of acupuncture in 2006. For the next 6 years she worked in Cambridge in a multidisciplinary practice where she gained experience helping people achieve better physical and emotional health. Larisa opened her own practice in 2012. She enjoys working in a small relaxing setting and offers sliding scale and easy on line scheduling. There is plenty of free parking and easy access to public transportation.

Larisa graduated the New England School of Acupuncture in 2006 with a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and is Board certified in the state of Massachusetts. She interned in local hospitals including the women’s center at the Mt. Auburn hospital in Cambridge.
Larisa first became interested in Eastern philosophies during her college years. She earned her bachelor degree in English and literature. During her studies she focused on writers influenced by Buddhism and Zen Buddhism, deepening her understanding of Eastern thought. She started meditating in the 80’s, later she studied Reiki, martial arts and yoga. When Larisa first tried acupuncture in 2001 it all came together — becoming an acupuncturist was a clear and easy choice.
Larisa is happy to share her life with amazing husband, two wonderful daughters, cat and dog. She enjoys gardening and growing her own vegetables, yoga, traveling, a good book and a good movie.
