Meet the Business Owner

Stephen M.

Business Owner

Steve Messina started installing carpet and floors for his uncle when he was 14 years of age. At 20 years old after learning the basics of the business, he decided to go into business for himself. He and his brother purchased a van and began installing on their own. In 1972 he and his brother Joe opened J&S Carpet. After several years Joe decided to move on to a different career while Steve stuck with the carpet business. Over the years, Steve and the J&S crew have survived on their good business skills and great customer service. The store continues to thrive in both residential and commercial business.
