If, you’re selling you’ll be disappointed as she doesn’t offer even close to a fair price — to be clear I only brought name brands Air Jordan’s, Converse, Gap — oh well. I felt better giving my items away for donation.

Sorry to say it, but believe the other posters! This place looks dirty and messy. Also, I called several times before going (during business hours) and there was no answer or answering machine message. I would rather buy my used baby gear from Craigslist. Bummer because it’s so close to my house and it’s silly to buy a lot of baby stuff brand new.

Will not be returning. Very disappointing, I have 3 month old twin boys and exclusively prepared for their arrival by shopping at resale shops, Craigslist and thrift stores. I’ve had great success and have found some spectacular resale/​consignments stores that are fresh, clean, well organized and stocked with fantastic gently used clothes and gear. This place is NOT one of those stores. Bad lighting, slight «Goodwill» scent, poorly organized but above all… terrible, worn clothing! I was in and out in 2 minutes.

The store is clean and well organized. We’ve got many stuff from here that are very useful such as pack n play, prenatal exercises DVDs. Always love visiting the store.

ok, i have to write an update, especially since i’m a mom now and have been here four times (twice to consign items).
the process of consigning items is frustratingly hit or miss. i came in for the first time with a bunch of name-​brand items, including some with tags, and some that i had ACTUALLY PURCHASED THERE ALREADY and i knew my little guy wouldn’t use. and they weren’t accepted. it was super frustrating. the woman working there said «we don’t accept items in small sizes» (newborn, 0 – 3 mo). first of all. yes you do, i bought these here! and second of all, are these not some of the best sizes to sell because babies outgrow those clothes so quickly and they’re barely worn? it’s not worth investing in brand-​new at that age!
but i digress.
i came back to consign again now that my son’s wearing 9 and 12 mo old stuff. i tried to target my items to brands i’ve seen there before, mostly carter’s, petit bateau, gap, etc. and wouldn’t you know that once again, they didn’t take items that i had purchased there that were still in almost brand new condition! and other name-​brand items with tags on! i just don’t get it!
perhaps this is a criticism of all kid’s consignment stores in general but i found the selection in older/​toddler sizes to be quite limited.
i also feel like i almost NEVER see hanna stuff there anymore. which is what i really want to buy. in general it seems picked over. and the pricing is weird. what made this gap onesie $ 1 and this other gap onesie that’s in basically the same condition $ 4? and i agree with what some others have said, i see items there sometimes that are definitely too well worn and should not be sold.
as others have said, hit or miss for sure. i still find this a fabulous resource for things you REALLY shouldn’t have to pay full price for given how temporarily you’ll use it, like moby wraps and nursing covers.

Consignment shops are a good way to get higher-​end children’s clothing for a fraction of the retail prices, and I have scored some nice items for my three year old daughter from brands like Hanna Andersson, Mini Boden, Tea Collection, and Gymboree. Like any consignment shop, you do have to do a great deal of sifting to find something you like, but I have generally found this place to be pretty well-​stocked, especially for girls’ clothing. The owner was friendly.
That said, I must join other reviewers who say that the place is cluttered and disorganized. They also carry a number of more «pedestrian» brands (i.e. Target, Kohls, etc.) that are not really consignment material. Some of the shoes were also too worn out for resale in my opinion. My advice on this front would be to be a little more picky about which brands to accept for consignment. Other than that, it is worth a trip at the beginnings of the seasons to stock up on some nicer children’s clothes as long as you don’t mind cutting through the clutter in the process.

I consign all of my son’s clothing here. The owners are friendly and efficient. If you consign your children’s clothes, you should know that they pay you cash OR give you store credit. I take the cash b/​c I rarely find the boy’s clothing in sizes we need. The store is always crowded when I’m there. The location is fabulous. And they seem to do a good business. Their prices are fair. I’m a huge fan. I’d give five stars but they really seem to lack consistently quality older boy’s clothing (size 4 and up), though I understand this is an issue at many children’s consignment shops since boys are rougher on their clothes.

I have been here a couple of times, and was underwhelmed both times. The owner was nice, but store was unorganized and she spent most of her time chasing after her toddler. I found a few things for my niece and nephew, but apparently her son is the same size as my son and there was absolutely nothing available in my son’s size. I have since been going to a great consignment on Rt. 9 that is clean, organized, and has a lot of quality things.

I need to give this store another try. When I went in, I made the mistake of having a stroller with me, which did not fit comfortably at all. There was stuff all over the floor and the racks were really tight — I am guessing there were probably treasures to be found, but I couldn’t deal with trying to find them! Seemed to be a lot of great gear and toys though — I’ll give it another shot now that my baby is bigger and easier to carry/​in a smaller stroller!

Pros–
— Location proves to attract strong brands/​gear.
— Prices are decent
— The owner is pleasant — the woman who works there part time always seems rushed and doesn’t really feel involved.
Con’s —
— Cluttered and Disorganized
— TV is on when her kids are in there. I understand it to a certain degree — but a line has to be drawn in terms of creating a play space that isn’t in the MIDDLE OF THE STORE!
— The TV can often be LOUD
— Prices on certain items high…
— Some items (i.e. Shoes should not be accepted if they are worn to the tilt).
— HIt or Miss (as with most consignment stores)

I always find something here. It’s really overwhelming, but I’ve found some incredible deals here. Moms shop here with their little ones because there’s always plenty of toys to play with. The best consignment shop around (and I frequent many)!

Definitely hit or miss! The place is constantly cluttered, and I feel like I need to sanitize myself as soon as I leave; clothes are the ground, toys are dirty. The staff while friendly, always seem to be overwhelmed. While I have had success in the past finding brand new items; the quality and intregrity of clothes and toys have steadily declined. I too, am relucant to return.

We got a few good deals here and the staff was super helpful, demonstrating how to use things, etc. I get facebook updates of new things they get in the store, which is cool. I just missed some books they had that I wanted, but I think they will hold it for you if you call ahead. Lesson learned. I think some of the clothes are a bit expensive but they had a lot of designer brands. I got a cute red sox gift box with a onesie, hat, bib, booties, and blanket for $ 4!
It is definitely cluttered, stuff is everywhere, and you don’t know where to start when you first walk in, but just find a corner and dive in. If you want deals, you have to work for them…

I loved this store when it first opened and the owner is a really delightful mom with a great eye for designer mom/children’s merchandise. But when it expanded, it became junkier, more cluttered and less organized. I appreciate that it’s a consignment store but that doesn’t mean it has to have a thrift-​store appearance or be dirty. Several moms I know who used to like it say the same thing. The prices on gear are also kind of high-children’s clothes and maternity items are more reasonable. I just don’t like digging through piles or stacks in baskets or having to wait and ask someone to help me to look at a swing because it’s in pieces. I’m also not a fan of having the tv on for kids. Kids music would be a better choice. I really hope the store works on these issues because I would love to see it succeed.

great consignment store for kids stuff. I was disappointed that they didn’t take more of our baby stuff to sell. They just expanded so the place is a bit of a mess.
We bought a great cart cover for $ 4. They normally cost about $ 30.
I know in the future we’ll be buying and selling many more things there.

They just expanded into the space next door, and it makes a huge difference! It’s no longer cramped, and they still have wonderful stuff and service. They advertised specials for Black Friday as Green Friday– true, reuse is one of the 3 Rs. The owner is a mom herself, and she always remembers me when I drop by. They will also let you make a wish list and call you when merchandise comes in!

Great quality at an even better price!
Stopped in when on a walk with my kids. I was on the lookout for some 3T sweaters, outerwear and boots.
Picked up a sweater, 4 sweatshirts, rain boots, and a toy for my 2-​year old — $ 27 dollars. The average was about $ 4 per item. The clothing was in excellent condition, Osh Kosh, Carters, The Children’s Place.
The owner was very helpful and the shop was full of kids and babies — very welcoming!
She is also starting a yummy mummy rack just for ladies — designer clothing… cheap!
Love this place! Stop by. It’s worth the trip!

Found some great pieces here — some Zutano one-​pieces for $ 6 (sell for $ 16 – 25 new). I’ll definitely drop by often to check out new selections. Chatted with the owner for a few minutes — very nice woman with two children (both of whom happened to be there with her). There were some toys & other items, but the focus is definitely on clothing.

Finally — a consignment store for kids, from infant through 6 years! And right around the corner from my house! AND THEY ALLOW DOGS!
What caught my eye was a little pair of baby pants for on $ 1.99 in the window. I passed by, saw it, turned around, and went inside. And there it was: My baby clothes resale heaven! No more full priced cute ensembles for my darling baby girl! Bargain basement prices, with a friendly shop-​keeper in tow! She has some baby gear and toys, but it looks like it’s mostly clothing.
They’ve only been open since January 6^th, so if you haven’t been to Cushing Square in a while, be sure to stop by this little gem.
