Ms. Grimaldi and I had a 15 minute session via phone; she was out of town. I received a $ 100 bill. She had not told me beforehand that phone sessions were paid for out-of-pocket. I did not pay the bill and stopped seeing her. Ms. Grimaldi made the decision to not authorize a refill for my medication for severe depression and an anxiety disorder. I had to wait weeks until I had an appointment with a new psychiatrist. Ms. Grimaldi was aware that the lack of medicaition had a significant impact on my mental health and continued to withold medication that she had prescribed. Very upsetting experience, especially for someone who was reluctant to seek professional help and wary of trusting others. She double booked me and did not apologize, indicating that I had recorded the date incorrectly.(Amusing, as I have OCD and compulsively read and write carefully).
