I have reviewed Christine before for her fantastic laser hair removal treatments, but this website removed the review. I am not sure why. So I am posting it again!
I have had multiple laser hair removal treatments from Christine, and she is absolutely fantastic. I started with underarms, and after one treatment, I was so pleased with the results and the completely reasonable cost that I decided to do my legs as well. Today, I had my fourth (and likely last) treatment of my underarms and my second treatment of my legs. Christine is the utmost professional, and I highly recommend her for anyone considering hair removal options. I wouldn’t go to anyone else, after such great experiences with her over the last 6 months. I HIGHLY recommend that anyone considering getting laser hair removal come here. Christine provides an incredibly high quality of service and care that you would be hard-​pressed to find anywhere else.

I have PCOS and facial hair has been a challenge for me for years. Seeing Christine is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. She is incredibly good at what she does. Weekly appointments with her have totally changed my hair situation and really given me my confidence back. The treatments (I do a half-​hour each time) are quick and not that painful (compared to what I have experienced with other practitioners in the past). I have very sensitive skin but somehow she has worked out a system that removes the hair without lasting irritation.
Christine is very friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. It is a pleasure to see her each week! Her schedule is accommodating and her rates are very reasonable. She really goes the extra mile to make your experience a good one. Her office space is exceptionally clean and comfortable. Street parking is always easy but there is also a bus stop very nearby.
If you have PCOS and have been disappointed by hair removal treatment in the past, try Christine. You will be glad you did!

After really great results with electrolysis treatments on facial areas with Christine, I decided to also get bikini and underarm treatments now that she offers laser treatments as an addition to her electrolysis practice. I was spending so much on bikini waxes and it was time to move on to a more permanent solution that I feel will pay for itself when i am no longer dropping $ 50 — 75 every month. I’ve completed three laser treatments and I’m thrilled with the results! Christine is so pleasant and her workspace is inviting and spotless. I highly recommend this business!

Super clean, super professional, super flexible, and super friendly. What more could you ask for? This is definitely not a painless procedure and Christine makes it as pleasant as possible. I’ve been working on my underarms for a few months now and I am very happy with the results.

Super clean, professional, caring, and, above all – EFFECTIVE ! After more than 20 years of receiving electrolysis– off and on– I can say without a doubt that Christine is the best technician I’ve ever found. She’s a nurse and it medical background shows in everything she does: how clean she keeps her office (pristine), her record keeping (detailed), her very careful attention to every detail. I’ve had electrologists (on in Coolidge Corner) who didn’t return calls, or canceled appointments 20 minutes before the time, others who were just off-​balance (batty– that one in Lexington) or sloppy (that one actually nibbled on something she’d been eating just before she started the treatment– without changing her gloves or washing her hands). There is no chance that Christine would ever pull such an un-​hygenic maneuver on a client. Best of all, she is deeply interested in seeing you get the results you want. For me that has been fewer and fewer visits, with lighter and lighter growth. I started going every couple of weeks and in just about a month and a half the time between appointments began to extend longer and longer. I now go every 3 – 4 months or so for a 15 minute appointment for just a few light but longish hairs. I can’t say enough positive things about this woman and her skills.

I found Electrology by Design after I became frustrated with my previous electrologist. I had been going to my previous person for 8 months, and the coarse hairs on my chin were not getting better. Before giving up on electrology, I decided to try Christine. I contacted her by email, and she immediately responded. From the beginning, I knew she knew her stuff. She keeps records of what she does at each visit which impressed me. The room is clean, orderly, and professional. She herself is a meticulous person, which bodes well when you want a meticulous job done. After 4 months of seeing her I have seen a huge improvement in the hairs. I now only have a few wispy dark hairs left. My eyebrows and upper lip also look great. She is very honest about how often I need to come. I highly recommend.

Christine is fabulous! I mean, hair removal can be awkward, not to mention painful, but she certainly has a knack for smoothing the process. Really comforting, mellow, delicate, kind, Christine’s blessedly distracting conversation is sincere — not the typical (often grating) salon chit-​chat.
Sleek and moderns on the inside, Electrology By Design is unassuming on the outside. It’s in the garden level of a medical/​office building and has ample on and off street parking.

The owner, Christine, offered me a free consultation a fews weeks ago. I went in for a visit and she taught me all about electrology and then offered me a free few minutes of electroloysis to try it out. It ended up being great, and I now go once a week to get work done.
A few years ago I did some laser hair removal (1 session every 6 – 8 weeks) for two years at a salon but a lot of the lighter hair has since come back, so now I got to Electrology By Design for PERMANENT hair removal; it’s more time consuming than laser, but I think it’s definitely worth it considering it’s permanent.
