I used Blooms of Hope for my 10/​17/​2015 wedding. Nicole had been recommended to me by at least three friends. The office is in a convenient location near Alewife, and Nicole was extremely professional and responsive. She was probably one of the most responsive vendors I worked with. She listened to what we wanted and made suggestions and when we went in for our last visit to see the samples they were perfect. We loved them. Nicole did the bridal bouquet, the maids of honor bouquets, bridesmaid bouquets, a flower wand for my 2 year old flower girl, and our centerpieces.
Flowers were delivered on time to our venue and we had no problems at all. I would highly recommend Blooms of Hope to anyone. The fact that part of their profit goes to charity is really the icing on the cake.

Blooms of Hope have the most beautiful arrangements and impeccable taste. The flowers we had for a shower truly made the event. My home has never looked so beautiful! Thank you Blooms of Hope!

When we first set out to find a florist for our wedding, I really had no idea what I was looking for. I did some research online and found a couple of pictures of bouquets that I thought were beautiful, but otherwise I was clueless. The only thing I knew was that I didn’t want the centerpieces to overwhelm our guests at the table. I have been at previous weddings where there seemed to be no space on the table because of large centerpieces, so I wanted to try to avoid this.
We met with another florist before Blooms of Hope, and I expressed my thoughts above, but by the end of the meeting the florist had decided on large centerpieces for the tables and also had tried to sway us to have some large altar piece for our ceremony, which we definitely didn’t think we needed. We got our proposal and it was over budget and not at all what we had wanted.
I contacted a friend of mine who got married last summer and asked her for her florist’s information since the flowers at her wedding were beautiful. Enter Blooms of Hope. I scheduled a meeting with Nicole, the owner, and I was so pleased after our meeting that Nicole seemed to be on the same page regarding what we wanted. Also, her initial proposal was less than half the price of what the first florist had quoted us. And, in the end, we spent less than even Nicole’s initial proposal!
I was a bit sad to find out that the main flowers in the bouquet I loved online were not in bloom at the time of year of my wedding, but Nicole was great at finding alternatives that still had the same look and feel that I was looking for!
A month or so before the wedding we met with Nicole to view samples and review all items. We loved everything she had put together. Bud vases and small hobnail vases for the tables, a beautiful bouquet for me, and samples of flowers to be used in posy bouquets for the moms, the boutonnieres, and our flower girl’s wand. It was so exciting to see it all coming together! Nicole also explained any flowers that would be substituted if need be on the day, which was great to hear that there was a backup plan in case things didn’t work out the week of.
Nicole was such a pleasure to work with throughout the wedding planning. She was always quick to reply to my emails and had such a great eye for florals. I also appreciated her dealing with my frazzled self on our wedding day. She was very patient when dropping off the personal flowers. She also helped my groom put on his boutonnière, and the extra boutonnière she left for him at the venue came in handy about halfway through the night.
I would definitely recommend Blooms of Hope! Also, keep in mind that some of the money you are spending goes towards charity — what a great added bonus!

Working with Nicole and the Blooms of Hope team was a wonderful experience. Nicole was friendly and knowledgeable about flowers and the wedding process. I met with and got quotes from several florists; Blooms of Hope was on par with the other quotes but included additional services such as the consultation, which was integral to the process! At the consultation, Nicole presented great interpretations of what we had talked about previously and was communicative about what changes they were looking to make with when the flowers were in seasons. In addition, Nicole helped to create back up plans if the flower or color we were hoping for was not in season. We also used Blooms of Hope for our Chuppah. Nicole had a great vision and execution for including family tallit. The finished product on the day of was beautiful! Nicole went above and beyond on the day of by staying during the ceremony to help take down the chuppah and set up the reception space! It was a great relief not having to think about the table set up because I knew Nicole would be there to ensure it was done correctly! The bouquets and bouts came out beautifully and were a wonderful, elegant pop of color! The inclusion of a back up bout for my groom came in handy and was a nice touch! Everything about Blooms of Hope was a wonderful choice in the planning process and was only made better by their business model and Nicole’s dedication to local nonprofits. We would have chosen Blooms of Hope based on our interactions with Nicole and their comparable price but their wonderful business model solidified the decision! The Blooms of Hope team was a great addition to our big day!

Working with Nicole from Blooms of Hope was the only negative experience that I had in my wedding planning process. I was drawn to her company because of the charitable donation that each client enables her to make. Looking back I wish that I had gone with someone more experienced and reputable and made a donation to a charity on my own. Nicole is extremely difficult to work with and while she may be knowledgable about flowers she is not creative when it comes to arranging. I ended up, after lots of difficulty communicating with Nicole, going to Wilson Farms to take pictures of flower arrangements that I like for her to copy for my wedding. All in all working with Blooms of Hope was a headache that I wouldn’t wish on anyone else.

We used Blooms of Hope for our wedding and we are so happy that we did. Their arrangements were beautiful and Nicole really listens to exactly what you want. She is very organized and carefully considers your budget while trying to achieve the look that you desire. When the flowers arrived at my wedding, I was very pleased with the outcome. It was exactly how I pictured it. I also liked the fact that 50% of their proceeds go to charity. I highly recommend Nicole and Blooms of Hope.

We used Blooms of Hope for our wedding and are so happy that we did. Nicole produced a beautiful bouquet and center pieces, exceeding my expectations. The best part is that 50% of proceeds are donated to charity. Both times I met with Nicole she was very pleasant so I am shocked at the other review that I’ve seen. She was one of a small few, wedding vendors I didn’t have to stress about, asking a lot of questions to make sure the flowers were perfect, which they were. They were a pinterest dream!
Nicole works out of her home and can only take on 2 or 3 events per week so she does book out far in advance.

I have now spoken to the owner Nicole twice on the telephone. She was booked for the date of my daughter’s wedding but I thought I’d try another occasion. Today I called and left a message and the owner called back promptly but she told me I was interrupting her workday with my questions. (Excuse me?) I was asking about an arrangement on her website since I was looking for something special for a dinner party four days from now. There was a stem of an orchid in a glass vessel with a lampshade on it. I wondered if it had a candle at the top. Was the stem in water? She thought I was trying to make the item at home instead of buying it from her and asked me that outright. That astonished me since if I wanted tips on making arrangements I’d look at one of the many DIY websites. Finally, she told me she was pretty much booked for the rest of the year and too busy to sell one arrangement. I guess customer service is not her thing. Not the attitude I’d expect from a small shop owner. I will now gladly order from Winston’s.

When we were looking for florists to work with for our December wedding, we were stunned by the range of options — and costs — that were out there (one florist actually had the nerve to quote me $ 6000 to do flowers for a reception of just 80 — 100 people!) I was beginning to lose faith that our $ 2-​$ 3K budget was realistic and in the end, we chose Blooms of Hope for two key reasons:
1. After chatting with Nicole and receiving her proposal, we were thrilled that she felt our budget was more than feasible (we ultimately came in under budget) and we were quite pleased with her quick and thorough understanding of our vision. Her expertise was apparent from day one.
2. Learning that a portion of our $$ would go to charity was a meaningful touch that made us feel even better about handing our floral budget over to Blooms of Hope.
From our first meeting with Nicole, we couldn’t have been happier with the level of expertise, knowledge, creativity, service, attention-​to-​detail, and flexibility she brought to the table.
When we first met, there were three different types of arrangements I was interested in and Nicole had samples of all three ready for us when we arrived. Since two of the three involved candles, it was great to have the opportunity to interact with the designs and figure out which worked best for our venue.
Throughout the months of planning, Nicole was always incredibly responsive to questions and emails, which brought us great peace of mind — we knew we didn’t have to worry about the flowers after our first meeting, because we had every confidence that detail was in good hands.
Nicole arrived early on the day of the wedding, and the flowers were perfect and beautiful and exactly what we had discussed months prior. She went above and beyond, bringing a «backup boutonnière» for the groom — just in case — which he actually used during the reception.
The reception arrangements were exquisite — We were delighted to discover that Nicole had even sprinkled additional rose petals in various areas of our reception room (like on the mantle pieces of the fireplaces), beyond what we’d discussed — bringing even more charm and warmth to the ambiance.
It’s clear that Nicole loves what she does — and her passion for her work shines right through to the finished product.
Her prices are quite reasonable, the service she provides is exceptional, and her floral design work is exquisite.
We were absolutely thrilled to have been blessed with such a wonderful partner for the floral design of our wedding.
