History

Established in 1996.

Dr. Graskemper has been creating smiles since 1977. After approximately 20 years of practice in La Jolla, California, Dr Graskemper moved to Long Island, New York to be closer to family. While in California he developed one of the first multi-​specialty practices in Southern California. Since coming to Long Island and opening a practice in Bellport, Dr Graskemper has become involved in Stonybrook School of Dental Medicine where he is currently an Associate Clinical Professor. He is published nationally and internationally with the most recent publication of his book «Professional Responsibility in Dentistry: a Guide to Law and Ethics» for new dentists. He continues to create smiles on the South Shore of Long Island and is highly active in the local community.

Dr. Graskemper was the previous sole owner of a multi-​specialty group practice in La Jolla California and now practices full-​time in Bellport, New York and is a Clinical Associate Professor at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. He teaches Professional Responsibility, Dental Law, Ethics, Risk Management, and Practice Management. He has been awarded 6 Fellowships in Dentistry. He is a Board member of the International Dental Law and Ethics Society, American College of Legal Medicine, Suffolk County Dental Society. He recently authored a book: «Professional Responsibility in Dentistry: A Practical Guide to Dental Law and Ethics». He belongs to many professional organizations, has lectured and has published nationally and internationally. He is very active in his community being a Past President of The Kiwanis Club of Patchogue, Past Chairmen of the Board of Maryhaven Center of Hope, Bellport Chamber of Commerce Member of the Year.
