if you have all the time in the world to spend at a dentists office then I recommend Bellmore Family Dental. I had to wait at least a half hour in the waiting room and then another half hour in one of the exam rooms waiting for the dentist to show up for every appointment — with the exception of the dental hygienist. There was never an apology– never a heads up prior to my appointment that they were running very late and the women at the front desk don’t seem to understand that you don’t have all day for them to figure out how their new system works. The actual work they did seems to be ok– average– did the job — but being on time means a lot to me– I don’t mean 10 or 15 minutes, that’s the norm, but the last time I was there for 90 minutes just for them to put a crown in. But again, if you’re the type of person who is fine with a dentists office that has a blatant lack of disrespect for your time, then this is the place for you to get your teeth worked on.

I have been a patient for seven years and I’ve had all kinds of dental work done. I have always been extremely pleased with the results. The staff is friendly, the office is modern and the dentists are terrific!!! I am a retired teacher and I never had a problem with the UFT insurance.

I would not recommend this dental practice due to my experience. I went in regarding a particular dental issue and preceded to undergo X-​rays for an hour because the staff didn’t know how to use their technology. Then the dentist came in bewildered as to why I was there. READ THE INTAKE FORM!!! then i was led to another room to wait for a cleaning (that i didn’t ask for) and after about 45 min of waiting i left untreated. Trying to get medical records were like «pulling teeth» because the staff kept giving me the run around. Not professional and certainly not going to get my business again with so many modern and professional practices nearby.

I had a terrible toothache, increasingly worse for several days. The pain got so extreme, that I couldn’t concentrate on anything else. With a quick call, to Bellmore Family Dental, their friendly staff helped me in my dire situation.
After a quick exam, being informed that that my Wisdom tooth had to come out; I was nervous. Having a small panic attack, I was calmed in their expert care. I zoned out and watched some television on the wall.
The whole process was quick, I was numb to any feeling. Didn’t feel any pain, whatsoever, especially after my toothache was gone.
Great experience, for ever having such an experience, it was so easy. They took care of me and didn’t take advantage of my painful circumstance, especially being without dental insurance.
I highly recommend Bellmore Family Dental and their staff.
