It’s fine for a quick overnight stay. It’s worn and not the easiest to pull into, can easily pass by. No pool, no laundry, and not sure where thye got the pics of the bathroom from when I looked at the site, but the bathrooms are pretty small and outdated. WiFi worked fine. Place looked empty but still put us next to people. Breakfast average. Good location to get on and off main roads, but there’s 3 other hotels right next door. Won’t return. Not sure why this is a 1 $, it was close to $ 100 on a Saturday night in January.

For an economy motel this was actually decent. Friendly front desk. The room itself was clean and not at all bleak. The hallway does smell like cat pee though. The room is the important part and for what you’re paying you’re getting a good deal.

Booked this place last min bc my friend and I decided to do a road trip to Philly and spend the night. We had spent the whole day out and came to the hotel to check in pretty late. Unfortunately for us this meant that we got a room on the first floor with the door leading directly to the outside. Kind of creepy smh Continental breakfast is from 6 – 9 which I thought was a joke. Most places change the time during the weekends to something a little later. Obviously we didn’t make the free breakfast The room had 2 queen beds, a flat screen tv, and a bathroom. The room was clean and had what we needed. We just wanted some place to shower and sleep. I definitely got creeped out when i closed the bathroom window and seen the dumpsters out back. Perfect place for a scary movie lol. HoJo definitely needs some updating. The lady that checked us in was friendly. I guess you get what you pay for lol.

We were staying overnight in Philly and my friend booked a room here since it’s only about 18 mins from downtown Philly and very affordable. The hotel itself it’s not new but our room was very clean and large. The only reason I didn’t give it a better grade is because it’s one of those hotels where the door to the room is outside. I’m not a fan of this setup since I keep thinking the killer is going to come to my room in the middle of the night. I know I need to stop watching scary movies lol Overall the hotel serve its purpose since we only came here for a couple of hours to sleep and shower.

I am very disappointed with the breakfast. They say it’s included but you come down and there is almost nothing there but milk. So you wake up early Cuz it’s until 9am and you waste your time.

My mother became ill while traveling and we made a pit stop to use the facilities. The desk clerk Shohali was very kind to my mother and I. She directed me to a local drug store where I could find medication to help my ailing mother. We didn’t stay but I wanted to acknowledge her kindness.

This place desperately needs a makeover, but otherwise gets the job done. It’s dirty on the outside but everything you need on the inside. We stopped here Saturday night on our drive back to Boston from North Carolina. We had been driving for 12 hours and were pretty exhausted and needed a place to crash. Most of the hotels in this area looked sketchy, so when the very nice young lady at the front desk said she could give me the AAA $ 66(?) rate in a non-smoking double bed room I was sold. It was pretty cheap already and wasn’t worth driving around to find a better deal. The place has free wifi, a small fitness center, and also free continental breakfast the next day(cereal, oatmeal, waffles, muffins, bagels, juice, coffee/tea, and some apples). When we got to our room I was a little sketched out that maybe I made a bad quick decision — the carpeting in the room and hallway were very stained, the paint was pealing, and there was no elevator. But the sheets were clean and very white, the bathroom though with chipped tiles was clean and it had fresh towels and soap. The room was very hot though and it took a long time to cool it down once we put the air conditioning on. My boyfriend and his son definitely had a lot of allergies from the room, but we saw no trace of bed bugs and everything seemed safe. There was also a safe and refrigerator in the room. There are a lot of electric plugs if you have a lot of things to charge. Overall I was more pleased than I expected.

I’ve read all of the reviews here and the one which most closely approximates my experience is the one by Ana R. This place is great if you have been traveling all day and need a place to crash or(as in my case) it’s a last-minute reservation where you must be in the Philly area for some reason. In my case, a family member had passed away and I needed accommodations — just for a day or so — to attend the services. But, definitely I would not stay here again. When I booked I didn’t pay close enough attention to the fact that I had confirmed a ‘smoking’ room. Pretty smoky smelling to say the least and I had to do a general dusting(and alcohol wipe sanitizing) of the room before I felt comfortable at all in it. The booking site said I was receiving a 15% discount(at 64 a night, but from reading these other reviews the price likely should have been that cheap — if not cheaper — regardless of a discount). I would recommend to smokers(and non-smokers alike) that they book a non-smoking room. My smoking room(at least) did not appear to be dusted, had cigarette burns on the bed spreads, and the electrical sockets seemed to be unable to hold plugs in firmly.(Otherwise, the rooms do feature a hairdryer, iron, safe, refrigerator, coffee, tea, and cable TV all of which work just fine. The staff, as well, is very nice). If I could, I would give 2 ½ stars(but can’t give 3).

This was a last-minute booking as we drove home from NC to MA. Two double beds for $ 67 is a great deal, but I’m glad we were only there for 6 hours. It’s pretty scary looking, but the room was actually clean(as far as I could tell), and it smelled nice. We checked the sheets and mattress for bed bugs and thankfully found none. The carpet was stained, the shampoos in the bathroom had been used, and the room had one tiny window facing the back alley. No elevator, so if you have loads of luggage, ask for a first floor room. The AC worked, the fridge worked, we didn’t check out the TV, but the wifi worked and was easy to access. The young woman at the front desk, Ashleigh, was very nice. We avoided the free breakfast in the morning, as it looked like it’d been there forever, and passed two bikers making out in front of the hotel as we left at 6am. Class. It’s really close to the highway, which was a huge plus for us, and cheap. And available at 11pm. But yeah, I’ve experienced a lot better.

This place is A-OK. We booked through , it was approx $ 45 per night plus tax. Room comes with 1 king bed, refrigerator, coffee maker, iron, tables and chairs. Our reservation came with free continental breakfast daily. It was in a good location. We felt safe here even if we weren’t familiar with the area and it is close to downtown Philly. The staff here was friendly. They were also nice enough to recommend places to eat in the area. The hotel lobby has menus for restaurants that deliver in the area. Check in and check out was easy, fast and convenient. They do have a gym here, but most if the equipment doesn’t work… Well they work but barely. The machines either make horrible noises or the calorie counters don’t work…

We only stayed here for one night, but overall it was a great stay! For $ 50, you have a hotel room with 2 beds, a mini fridge, table & chairs, shower w/tub, safe, Tv w/HBO, and wireless internet capability. We thought they had a pool when we walked in bc it smelled sooo much like Chlorine, but at least we knew it was clean. The staff was very friendly! Being so close to Philly, the MOD gave us directions and info on where to go and what to see! I would stay there again if I ever am near the area!

It got the job done. A palce to rest my head roughly $ 50 a night. Only 15 mins from downtown Philadelphia. Staff extremely pleasant. It took a little while for the room to heat up(it is 30 degrees outside) but other than that, no complaints. May even extended my stay!
