Why can’t you give 0 stars? I am a new mother recently, unemployed and my boyfriend worked for this company. He was 10 mins late (1 time) and they fired him. All the other employees were talking one day saying he was the only one that was not late, therefore they were all late at one point. Then he was 10 minutes late and they let him go. This is by far the most redicilous thing I have ever heard. Very poor business running if you ask me.

Ive used them 2 times. the 1^st time is when I bought my home, I knew my chimney was a disaster and needed major work. A tech came out, checked everything and gave me an estimate. It was very reasonable and we hired him. They were here about 4 hours and left the area they worked spotless. the cap looks great. The 2^nd time was just a regular sweep. The tech was here on time no BS. im satisfied and will call again

Service was ok with this place. Price was ok. The young employees are not to be trusted here as I know some things were taken from my man cave! I talked to them about it, and they denied it. My wife left for just 5 minutes to put kids in the bus, when she came back, the thief Travis was putting something in his van, that belonged to me. My wife didn’t see much, but I knew after coming home that day that things were gone. I called this place and no one seemed to care or believe me. I’ve got a nice house with a lot of nice things in it. That is why he targeted me. I would never trust this company, they obviously hire petty theifs. It’s amazing how unhelpful they were. Don’t trust Travis In your home. That’s all I can say. Keep an eye on this their. Shame on this company.

Ultimate Chimney Sweep is a terrible company. They caused damage to my stove and the surrounding granite and refused to claim any responsibility. After a routine cleaning they informed me that the cap was not up to code. Over $ 500 later, the vent pipe was leaking hot tar water during a rain storm. The company reluctantly sent someone and they did another cleaning and said the pipe was installed incorrectly. He indicated that since it was a Saturday he could not replace the pipe and no one was in the office to authorize. After repeatedly contacting Jenny and requesting to speak to the owner Tom I was refused! They will not handle the damage they caused which is in upwards of $ 800. I have great concern every time I use the stove that it is unsafe.

I recently had my chimney cleaned and I would definitely recommend ultimate chimney sweepers. The were very reasonable in prices and did appointments on Saturday which was very convenient. The tech came out on time and was very helpful answering all my questions. After he was done he left my chimney and house CLEAN.

These guys are spot on with chimney technology. We were looking at a home that the seller and Realtor neglected to noticed had a completely busted HVAC and Chimney system. The clay interior of the chimney had reached the end of its life and was deteriorating and collapsing into the house. These guys were EXTREMELY reasonable with price and told us everything else that was wrong with the house that could present a fire hazard. Our home inspector, electrical and HVAC experts backed up what they said. They are NOT JUST Chimney sweeps. These guys are experts and I will be hiring them in the future. They only quoted us $ 6500 to bring the fireplace and the oil portions of the chimney to livable condition. They saved us from buying a disaster. Most people don’t realize that the interior clay lining of a fireplace only lasts 25 yrs and that re-​pointing and resealing must be done. Chimney’s are not just for fires and should be checked every year. I used to work with a bricklaying firm in the UK and I was very impressed.

I agree with the previous review that the technician was professional. However, the tech was unable to complete the job due to an issue he encountered. After calling his supervisor, he told me he could do something that day, but I would need to call the company to send another tech to finish the work. I understand things happen, so I did not have a problem with having a second visit. I asked him if I would have to pay extra, and he told me, «No [because] it’s a free estimate.»
When I called the company that same afternoon, a woman told me the tech wasn’t back with my paperwork, so she would call me back. She didn’t.
The following week I called the company again. This time the woman I spoke to was argumentative, told me I would have to pay again to have a second visit, and she didn’t want to hear anything I told her, repeating, «We don’t do that.» I wasn’t asking for a second visit to do everything all over again, I just wanted someone to come back to the property to finish THE ORIGINAL JOB THAT WAS NOT COMPLETED!
Frustrated, I asked to speak to a supervisor. A second woman came to the phone, and I explained my situation to her. She asked for some information and said she would talk to the tech. She also took my phone number and told me she would call me back. As of today, no one has called me back regarding my unfinished chimney inspection.
This is very frustrating, and considering the tech was bragging that the company has 30 service trucks out in the field, I would think this would not be such an issue. I hope to be able to update this review with more positive information, but for now, I will not rehire this company, nor will I recommend them to anyone.

Technician was professional. I hired them to clean the chimney. I suppose they did clean the chimney. He did an inspection and came up with over $ 4,500 in required repairs. Many of these were obviously completely unnecessary. The sales tactic was designed to scare me. Luckily, I know more about homes than most home owners do and realized that he was selling me a load of BS. I was able to repair my chimney for $ 600 and had it re-​inspected by another company who gave me a clean bill of health. I will not be using this company again.
