Most of my clients would probably tell you that I specialize in helping people achieve their home buying and selling goals by listening to their wants and needs and helping facilitate those. I am a Certified Residential Specialist, which just means I’ve spent extensive time in specific classes to gain more practical knowledge to better serve my clients. A large majority of my business is helping people with residential property and vacant land. My clients range from first time home buyers to buyers and sellers of waterfront properties. I have personal experience with residential development and new construction and have assisted many of my clients with the building process.

History

Established in 2002.

I grew up on Orcas Island where my mother was an owner of a small real estate brokerage. After graduating from college with a business finance degree I chose to get my real estate license because of my experience with my mom selling real estate and my desire to work with people one on one. Since starting I have earned several designations, but most recently I met a goal of mine by earning my managing brokers license.

Real estate is my full-​time, life-​long career choice, I believe my clients deserve no less. I believe the best way to run my business is with a sense of humor and a smile, but while giving the type of professional service that I would appreciate myself.

With each client my goal has been to take the relationship beyond just being their agent, and to provide service before, during and after a home purchase or sale. As a result of all this, I’ve been able to create a strong referral based business that has grown year after year even in a declining market.

Beyond my career in real estate I have a relatively unique background. I grew up on Orcas Island with 5 sibling, where my family lived on a boat for 6 years. My parents, my 4 older sisters, my younger brother and myself all shared what anyone would consider a «small» space (probably less than 200 sq. ft.), but as a result we are all very close.

Since then I’ve earned a degree from Western Washington University while playing football. I’ve coached high school football at Sehome High School for 7 years and often times can be found volunteering as a coach at the Boys and Girls Club during my free time.

Currently… I’m proud to be able to say I’ve been married for 10 years and have 3 great kids that truly put a smile on my face everyday. In the 10 years we’ve been married, my wife and I have built 4 homes and remodeled one. We are now hoping to settle down in one location and create a place for us and our kids to enjoy for some time to come. Anything beyond that I’m happy to share!
