R & R Kennels

I love R & R Kennels! This is the only place that I will take my dog. The staff is always friendly. The kennels are definitely big enough for the dogs to move around. My dog always comes back happy and smelling like cedar chips! (Which I think is a good smell). The price is very reasonable. Only $ 14/​day. Keep in mind the drop-​off day is charged as a full day regardless of when you drop them off. In response to the previous review, if they aren’t in the lobby area, they always have a sign on the door that says to come up to the house. The only downside is that it’s extremely loud in the kennel area, but with dozens of dogs in there, what else would you expect? I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to board their dog in Bellingham :)

This was the only place in Bham to have an opening the friday before Memorial Day Weekend, so for that I was extremely thankful (it was also the cheapest). However, I wouldn’t take my dog back here again. There was a general miscommunication on the time to pick up and drop off the dog. Consequently, I ended up paying for an extra half day, which needless to say I was not happy about. Also, when I came to pick up my dog I had to wait for twenty minutes in the lobby because I couldn’t find anybody. I was literally standing in the lobby calling them in hopes they would answer the phone and wandering aimlessly around the kennel. (At this point I was ready to just take my dog and make a run for it!) Finally, I get my dog (who was more than ready to come home) and in the car I notice her face is bleeding. They suggest it was like this before she came in, no it wasn’t! Point of story, if you are looking to kennel your dog in Bham go someplace else!
