Charron Tree Service

It all started out fine. I called the company. They had good reviews and someone came out for an estimate. This was 3÷24÷16. He originally estimated 1750… I offered 1500 and we agreed at 1625… cash. He said he’d be back in 2 ½ weeks. After 3 weeks we started calling. No answers. We had another tree company that was doing our neighbors house but we agreed to work with Charron so we passed. 9 phone calls later with only 1 returned. Still no work done.
I talked with the owner who made excuses about weather, machinery being broken, dog eating his homework and aliens attacking. He said he’d call back the next day to tell me which day the following week he would be there as he would have to bump someone.
It’s now 3 calls later… and 6÷6÷16. Last week they said the owner would call back the next day… remarkably…still nothing. Now, I guess we’ll have to get someone else and wait another 3 weeks. There are some dangerous trees that present danger to my children and house, but I guess they don’t really care.
Remarkably bad experience.

Charron Tree Service tackled a HUGE job at our house, removing 25 – 30 trees and lots of brush leaving the hardwood for firewood and cleaning up the rest. Kevin was very professional, arrived when he said he would and gave us the best estimate out of 4 companies. We hired him, and his team started the job a week later. The job took 2.5 days, with 5 – 6 guys on the job each day. Kevin himself fell ill and couldn’t be there, but his team took over very professionally, completed everything on the quote, worked hard and quickly, cleaning up and opening up our yard beautifully. And they were all friendly and pleasant to boot. I will definitely hire them again for our future tree needs!

Used Charron to take care of some pruning as well as taking down a couple of trees. They did a great job, would definitely hire them again.

Similar experience to Stephen N. Charron came highly recommended and was quick to quote. Out of all the quotes we received, they provided what we thought was the most reasonable price for the work. Multiple attempts were made to schedule the work over a two week period. We were finally able to schedule the work for July 10^th (yesterday). At the start of the week, my wife called and left messages again to verify the appointment and ask where they would like the check to be left since we were unsure if we’d be home during the work. Without hearing back, we figured they would still be coming and left the check in an envelope in the front door in plain sight. When my wife returned home from work, no work had been done and the check was still present. Neither of us had received phone calls canceling or rescheduling the appointment. Again, multiple calls prior to their closing time of 5pm were placed with no pickup or response. I attempted to call again this morning (July 11^th) to be sent right to voicemail. I can understand being busy and things happening, but to not show up without canceling or calling is extremely unprofessional in my opinion.

Super disappointed. Was recommended by 3 different people at work. Kevin was quick to quote. Price was great. Never received a phone call back after that. Must have called a dozen times over 3 weeks trying to get a date to take tree down. Was given the run around each time finally gave up and trying other company’s.
Update-​They finally called 4 weeks later. Came the next day and did a wonderful job.
