Bakerview Nursery & Garden Center

Everything is overpriced here. They don’t carry local seeds, and hardly anything local. Sure seems weird for a place that touts how they support local. I was told it was because they cannot make a big enough profit margin on those things. Even though much of the staff is knowledgeable it is obvious they are overworked and I’ve been told underpaid for the quality of work they provide.
The pottery and statuary selection is way better at other local nurseries. Don’t go here on a hot day, the cash register area is extremely hot and stuffy.

Got a yard of topsoil from them. Came home and dumped it from our truck onto the grass so we could wheelbarrow it to where it was going. Afterward we were left with a LOT of small rocks in the soil that are now all over our yard grass. Also, wherever we used their topsoil, we suddenly found tons and tons of clover growing. We’ve never had clover in our yard before and now it’s choking out our lawn. We will not be going back to you for soil.
I should note we later had 4 yards delivered from another local place and the topsoil was beautiful with only a few rocks. Not only were they cheaper than Bakerview Nursery but I am amazed at the difference in quality.
Bakerview Nursery may be good for plants but in this instance they really disappointed me.
