Since 2002, we have embraced technology to help bring you a better experience for free. Our updated music program now includes free audio clips and videos to help you progress even faster.

Meet the Business Owner

Micah M.

Business Owner

Micah J. Mata has over 20,000 hours, and over a decade of experience teaching music. He has taught music to all skills, levels, abilities, and disabilities. He has experience teaching beginning music lessons, intermediate music lessons and advanced music lessons. He also has extensive experience working with children and teenagers who are ADD, ADHD, autistic, Aspergers, ASD, and more.

Micah also works as a part-​time music instructor for the ABC School District Adult School in Cerritos bringing music education to groups of adults ages 18 – 75.

Currently, Micah is studying nursing to attain a BSN, while working as a music instructor and administrator of Lessons That Rock. He enjoys all types of music, and enjoys the daily challenge of bringing the light of music to everyone.
