I purchased four hours of BLT Cleaning Service deep cleaning through LivingSocial. Sofia came to my home at the exact time scheduled. She was professional yet very pleasant to work with. She confirmed with me all items that I wanted to have completed by the end of the 4 hours and not only completed them, she added an additional bathroom to the work. She was very detailed and thorough in her cleaning and I would have her return to help me with cleaning service any time! Thank you for having such a responsible and wonderful staff member to assist me.

I’ve used this service 3 times in the past 2 months. «Lorraine» was outstanding. She was very thorough and professional. It’s amazing how much she got done in just 3 hours. I recommend this service! I’ll be using them again.

What kind of sh*tty business is this guy running?!
He personally answered the phone and scheduled the appointment. After 30 minutes passed the scheduled appointment on Saturday, I started calling the (562) # and my calls went directly to mail box which was stated full. A while later, for some reason, I got a call from 310−809−3535 and this guy asked if the cleaning lady had arrived. I said no and he said he would check and call me back. And he never did!!! No false excuses, no explanations. Nothing!!!

I needed my house cleaned for a gathering. Super easy to schedule, and I called back when I didn’t receive the e-​mail confirmation they had promised and left a message. Never heard back and next day — day of the cleaning — they didn’t show. Left a second message message to say no one had showed. Still waiting to hear back and hoping this is an unusual exchange/​lack of communication, but wow, this really sucks when you put faith in a business to get something done that’s not extraordinary, you give multiple opportunities for feedback and communication and you get nothing. Would like this to turn out well, but…

I wish I would have checked out the reviews on Unilocal before I purchased the living social special. I sent an email stating how disappointed I was when I returned home yesterday. I specifically asked for the cleaner to start with the floors and dusting and then proceed with the rest of the house. Some of the floors were done and ¼ of the dusting. Bathrooms, kitchen and bedrooms weren’t even touched. Benjamin’s response is that he has never received a complaint in the 1000 cleanings this woman has done. Well, here is your first one! He actually said «According to her there is a significant amount of work to do there.»
Please, if I had 3 hours to clean this house, it would be immaculate. Never again BLT!

Normally you need a FOB key to get to my apartment and it’s a maze to find it… the pizza guys can’t even find it. I heard my doorbell ring and Clorinda was at the door. She asked specifically what was important to me and then when she was done asked me to look over everything to make sure it was good. She also said she’d be happy to do anything that she could have missed. I had just babysat 3 dogs and one if which sheds A LOT and there wasn’t a trace of dog hair. She did a great job in a 3 hour time period and was so pleasant to work with. Thank you Clorinda and BLT Cleaning Service!

Do not use this company! They are extremely unprofessional with their communication. I used them once in the past and they sent out one woman who struggled to clean my home in a timely manner. I tried to give them another opportunity and scheduled a longer cleaning session using their online scheduling system on Monday afternoon, Tues am they told me my appt still was not confirmed. Wed I made other arrangements for cleaning and they did not bother to send a confirmation email until 10pm Wed for a Thurs appt. When I tried to tell the owner it was unacceptable to confirm less than 24 hrs before he threatened to send me to a credit bureau to pay a $ 30 cancellation fee. They are extremely unprofessional and hostile… I would absolutely not trust doing business with them in the future. There are much better, more affordable and more responsible cleaners without the drama…

i checked Unilocal before purchasing the LS deal — mixed reviews but thought I would give them a shot. Pros: showed up on time. Cons: My house isn’t cleaner. I am a weird «pre-​cleaner» if that makes sense. I clear out clutter, do dishes, surface wipe, sweep before arrival. Its my hope that this helps get the place clean. I had them do kitchen, dining room, living room & 1 bathroom (not even the bath tub) no bedrooms. Floors were not clean, rugs not vacuumed & furniture in dining room not dusted. I scheduled this cleaning before heading out of town & came home from a 5 hour flight to a house I had to clean :(

I purchased the 4 hour deal on LS. When I called and spoke to Ben he was willing to send someone the very next day to do the cleaning. I did not need anyone that soon so I decided to schedule for Monday April 18^th. I received an email shortly after scheduling my appointment and a reminder email the day prior.
I was very pleased when Lorraine arrived promptly at 9 am and immediately started cleaning. She asked me everything I wanted done (which was just my kitchen and 2 bathrooms) and my order of importance. Lorraine was very professional and efficient. One of my bathroom showers had a lot of build up and she took her time and cleaned that shower very thoroughly! I am very happy with the way it came out.
Lorraine is amazing and does great work. I loved the vacuum (Shark Navigator) that she used. I will be going out to purchase the same one this weekend. If I had known it would turn out so great I would have purchased additional time so that more of my place could be done. I would definitely recommend BLT Cleaning and continue to do business with them in the future!

I am so happy to have found this cleaning company. My previous cleaning person moved away and I needed to find a replacement. I found it on Craig’s list and their website.
My first contact was with Benjamin the owner, who was so polite and responsive, it made me feel welcome. He referred Maggie to come clean for me a few days after that. I explained to him that if I was happy with Maggie I would want her to clean once a week.
Maggie came exactly on time and with her own cleaning supplies. She is so polite, curteous and an incredibly hard worker. She was there for the entire 4 hours (first visit) and cleaned my place thoroughly… So I called Benjamin and said I was so happy with Maggie. I now have Maggie scheduled for once a week 3 hours each week (I told her if she comes once a week I should be able to get the messiness under control ;) :). She came yesterday and again did an amazingly thorough job…

PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOU MONEY!!! These people are thieves! My sister bought the promotion on livingsocial for the 3 hour cleaning and no one showed up!!! I called the number provided and asked what was going on and the guy said he’d call me back and let me know the status of the person. Never got a call back! I called and called and called and called and no response!!! Please DO NOT THROW AWAY YOUR MONEY. Even if you see it on livingsocial. They are literally THIEVES who take your money and don’t do the work. I wish my sister would have seen the previous reviews on here. Apparently others have had the same problem. But this won’t stay like this. I’ll make sure she gets her full refund. THIEVES!!!

Don’t waste your money!
I purchased the livingsocial «three hour deep cleaning» which should have been called the «bathroom only quickie clean»
Two people showed up so they said the 3 hours is now cut to 1.5 and that would only be enough time to clean the bathrooms.
I don’t understand how it takes 2 people over an hour to clean 2 bathrooms.
After the hour+, we had to ask them to split so one can at least get the 3^rd bathroom started or quickly cleaned.
I could have done the bathrooms myself in 30 minutes without spending a penny on a «3 hr deep clean»

I’m surprised to see so many negative review; I guess it depends on who they send.
Our cleaner was Dori and she was awesome! She was punctual, kind, patient, thorough and detailed to every bit of cleaning needed. She even cleaned places that we didn’t realize needed to be cleaned. She helped my mom get her room back in order, which had been in disarray since we moved to our house. This was no easy task but Dori is an organizational wizard! My mom’s room has never looked so good and it has helped get her life back.
We highly recommend Dori!

Update. I get a text cleaning lady is here an hour later, I made other arrangements and told I would be charged a fee canceling in less than 24 hours. I was then given a guilt trip when I tell them I will dispute the charge as I did call and leave a msg about 10 mins after with no response.
This was my initial review: 2 stars because of the deal I got on living social and the excellent cleaning lady that time. The 2^nd time out of pocket. They said the same lady left to Mexico so offered another and a different time was confirmed via email which I didn’t dispute then a notice the day before saying it was not confirmed and another saying it was and 30 mins after the time still no one. Bummer, I really liked the service the first time.

Despite some of the negative feedback for this business. My one experience was positive.
I called and made an appointment for a move-​out cleaning service for 4 hours. A nice gentleman picked up the phone right away and was able to give me the exact time slot that I wanted. I admit I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews on here, so I called again the day before my appointment to confirm. An hour before my appointment time, I got a call from the cleaner and she said she had the incorrect address and needed to ask me, so I was able to give her the correct address and directions. She came 10min early which was very nice!
She brought her own products, was very nice, friendly and VERY thorough which we really appreciated. I stayed with her just to make sure she had everything she needed. She actually worked more than 4 hours to finish up the entire house and didn’t charge me extra. I really do like that she was very diligent and got all the nicks and crannies. She was slower paced than some of the other cleaning/​maid services I have used in the past. It’s fine as long as the job is done.
Overall a very good experience, very professional.

BLT redeemed itself on this, its second time cleaning my house. My first review was a bad one, and deservedly so (the cleaners that came to my house the first time were subsequently let go from the company, which is telling), but the plus side is that Benjamin (owner/​manager) was open and willing to make things right, so he sent me a different cleaning person as a do-​over.
The second cleaner (Rhiannon) was a night and day difference from the first two girls that came here. She was professional, friendly, hardworking, and thorough. I was pleased with her work and am thankful she came over. I will now give this company another chance and try them out for a third round.

Worst Customer Service and Unorganized unprofessional experience I have ever had. Bought a voucher and asked if they serve ventura county. I talked to a pleasant woman who gladly scheduled a date for service. They never showed up… Called the service and said that «you know we dont make any money driving to ventura». I asked if I could reschedule and they flaked again. If you talk to benjamin on the phone tell him to not offer ventura county and waste time.
I don’t post negative reviews but customer service means the world to me.
