Stopped by for the first time yesterday. Glowing light that said OPEN. NOT! Hours posted mean nothing. They advertise they are open until 5:30, but not true. I was there at 3:30 on Wednesday and the door was locked. Horrible business practices, unreliable, and flakey. I would not trust this business to ship my packages.

I went here in May 2013 to have my Live Scan fingerprints done to become a CA notary public. They weren’t open the first time I stopped by during business hours. I called the next day and went in and was treated very well. The lady who did my Live Scan and was chatty and supportive of my new business, offering suggestions and good will.
I’d definitely go back, but know to call ahead first.

I went here to get my Live Scan fingerprints done for a big state test I’m taking. I went in, and the guy — let’s just say he did not instill any confidence. He mumbled, I had to ask him to repeat what he was saying multiple times, and it took him multiple times to get my friends prints done correctly. When it was my turn, I watched him enter my information and noticed he put my maiden name instead of my married name, so I corrected him. He finished my scan and told me the total was $ 47. I handed him my card. He couldn’t get the machine to work (even though my friend before me used hers just fine). I explained there was money in the account, that wasn’t the problem. He said, «Well, it’s not working. So you can go find an ATM if you want.» (Read: «It’s not my problem.») I said I need this to be done now. He said, «I don’t know what to tell you. It’s not working.» I asked if he accepted a check, he said yes. I wrote him one. Then I left, not feeling entirely great about my time there.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would.
I get a letter from the court reporter’s board (with whom I’m taking my test) saying my Live Scan was done incorrectly. It was supposed to be sent to the Department of Justice and the FBI, and the FBI was not included. Of course.
I go back in. A different woman helps me and, after several phone calls to the owner and aimlessly clicking around the fingerprint program, decides all she has to do is click the «FBI» button and it should be fine.
I get a phone call the next day saying there’s something else wrong with the prints and I have to come back in again. I go back in. She says the prints have to be redone entirely, she discovered you can’t just add the FBI without redoing the scans. She does it. My friend (who also had the same problems) went in before me, and they tried to charge her for the second set of scans. After she explained it wasn’t her error, they didn’t charge her. I go in and she says since I only paid $ 47, in order to send it to both agencies it’s going to cost $ 64. I said I’m not confident giving them more money when it’s been done incorrectly so many times. She called the owner five times throughout our talk, then she eventually just handed me her cellphone. The owner said, «We have to do these scans a second time because of our employee’s error, and I’m paying for that. But it’s $ 64 to go to both agencies, and I’m not covering your shortage.» I just wanted this to be done and over with, so I paid the $ 17 and left.
This establishment is unprofessional, doesn’t give two craps about customer service or any kind of integrity, and has employees who are not trained and have no idea how to work the computers or perform any kind of functions at all, and the owner is just as rude. It’s obvious they don’t care about being a great business or serving their customers with respect. I have never received such incompetent service.
Do not go to this establishment for any service, ever.
