Yuan Spa

Yuan spa is my absolute favorite! The second you enter the door you are greeted by nice staff who are always so friendly and show you to the locker-​room where you are given a robe and slippers. The hydrotherapy is a must before your relaxing massage! They have a sauna, steam room, a hot tub and a salt water spa. They provide you with towels, water and body scrubs to use. The little details of this spa are amazing. Every massage I have gotten here has been so relaxing. This place is very well kept and very clean. I would highly recommend Yuan Spa!!! Love love love!!! I am so excited for my massage tomorrow!

This place came strongly recommended by a friend and with good reason. Bronson does a deep tissue massage that will make you feel like a new woman. I’ve had much more range of motion after his massages and see a noticeable reduction of knots, aches, and stress.
Denise does a fantastic color, cut, and style. When your stylist teaches other stylists, you know you’re getting the best of the best.

Absolutely delightful experience. I have never had a massage before, but I could definitely get use to it!

Prices are steep but what do you expect for a place in downtown Bellevue. Massage therapists all seem pretty knowledgable and professional. The spa amenities are awesome.

I have gone to Yuan Spa for several years and the service is always great! So great that I even became a member :) I highly recommend Bronson as I have gone to him for my massages and he is the absolute best. He is knowledgeable, talented, and always makes you feel comfortable. I highly recommend you go see Bronson at Yuan for your next massage!

I have never had a better experience! If you want the best body scrub experience, see Liz. She’s the best! And if you want the best massage, I recommend Bronson! He is so on point! And if you need an amazing facial from someone who knows her stuff, see Leana! They made it an amazing experience for me. I felt like a princess.
I have been to a few of these places in the area, as a gift, I occasionally get blessed with an experience somewhere. But that’s usually a one time experience for me that I accept with gratitude, but after visiting Yuan spa, I will definitely be returning to this day spa! The environment is relaxing, professional, the staff is not snooty, and I left wanting to become a member and return here frequently. It’s actually an affordable membership, and for someone like myself, a hairstylist in my thirties, I need to take care of my body and skin more seriously.

A friend and myself went here for the first time on New Year’s day for a recovery session. The girls at the front desk were very polite and informative on their services. After we checked in, we were shown to the locker room, which was very clean and had personal hygiene items. We did the Hydrotherapy treatment: hot pool, cold pool, steam room, and sauna. All the areas were very clean and organized. We left feeling amazing and rejuvenated! I will definitely be back!

Everything in this building was effective, clean, and beautiful. Mai did my deep tissue and I can’t imagine how it could’ve been better. She was skilled and everyone was SO friendly. The hydrotherapy and steam rooms were an add on that cemented my decision to come here, and I’m so glad I did. You really get what you pay for.
As a 118 pound female in the Army, my back has arguably endured more strain than most; I’ve dealt with chronic pain and tension for years, but no more! My body feels relaxed and soft from the fantastic products they used. I plan on either signing up for a membership or coming as often as I can at least. It is a 2 hour trip from where I live but it’s definitely worth while.
So many amenities and small details made this spa stick out, and I saw the staff working so hard to constantly make everywhere as clean and stocked as possible.
Robes were so thick and comfortable I wanted to keep it, definitely made of quality material. Just needed to add that.

I like this place a lot especially for their hair and nail salons! Denise is amazing, she is a true artist and my hair has never looked so good! She is the only hair expert I have seen which was able to choose a color and hair style that were perfect for my skin tone face shape. This is the only place I will go to as long as Denis is there.
I also like Cally from the nail salon a lot, she has so much experience and pays so much attention to details! I am really grateful to have found her!
I have used the other services too, I like their Chinese body scrubs a lot, the only thing I don’t like is that they don’t use a body lotion afterwards and your skin might be a bit dry afterwards. You have to be careful to apply the body lotion afterwards or just go to a massage right after :)
One last thing– they sell some really good products, all are top products in their range and you can’t be wrong with any of them. I buy my skinceutical products from here and any time I need some organic skin care. If you are a member, you get them cheaper too.

I go here every month and Yuan Spa doesn’t disappoint. Wonderful service and very well maintained place. The steam/​sauna room is just amazing. The staff are very skilled and know their stuff. It feels like the staff keep changing however. The estheticians are very professional and do a good job. The timings are great too as they stay open till 10 and usually appointments are available even if you call on the day of.

I LOVE this place! The staff are SO nice and professional. Every massage I’ve ever had from here has been a dream! And, if maybe a client (not naming names, but it’s ME!!) stained a bunch of white towels with her freshly dyed RED Veggie Dyed hair, they weren’t upset with me and very nicely brought me some brown towels! :D
The only problem I have is when I came here on my birthday for a half day of services, there was a Bridal Party who were treating the spa rooms as if it were gossip hour. That really ruins the experience for everyone! I wish the staff would have been more diligent in facilitating a peaceful environment for all.
Otherwise, this is an amazing Spa that includes a hot pool, salt bar (Black Sea, Pink Himalayan, and Sea Salt) for the Starry Night Eucalyptus Steam Room, a hot sauna, and a cold mineral pool. There is water, tea, and cookies in the lounge, and also cold cloths and cucumber slices for use.

Heard much about this place from my clients. Was able to get there an hour before my massage to use the hydrotherapy room. Great idea and usage of time before receiving your service.
The reason I give four stars instead of 5 is because there were a group of ladies that were there for social hour and none of the staff requested for them to tone it down. They could be heard from the «relaxation» room. Which to me was a little disappointing when I’m paying so much for a relaxing treatment. Really wished I could have gotten to a calm point before my massage, but was more irritated than anything.
Otherwise, décor is great, and massage was fantastic!

I want to start off stating that I really love this place. I have been a few times and I find it extremely relaxing and I love that you can drop in. They have great therapists too, especially this one male massage therapist– he knows the musculoskeletal system. Hands down best massage I’ve ever had.
What I noticed on my last visit is a bit of disrepair. I know it’s hard to keep a wet environment clean and repaired all the time, especially if you’re open everyday. Cleanliness draws people in and they don’t even notice, conversely a noticeable lack of cleanliness will compel you to wonder what else isn’t being tended to. If your main gig is a hydro room, keep it spotless, repair the broken tiles on the tubs. As a spa employee myself, I know clients look around and notice everything from a tiny stain on a towel to actually commenting on how clean it is. I hope someone can find the time to clean the vent on the ceiling of the hydrotherapy room. It’s got black mold all over it. While I was soaking in the hot tub, every few breaths I smelled a sewer-​ish scent, albeit faint, I have a sensitive nose. I couldn’t even think of where it could be from until I saw the drainage system in the floor, which is ingenious, but it may need to be cleaned as well. The swimsuit spinner was leaking, shower heads don’t stay up. It’s these little things that seem small, but they’re so important.
I love that there are brushes, mouthwash, lovely scented hair/​body care products, towels galore, robes, slippers. I love the spa and the selection of salts, the cold towels, fruit water. It’s nearly perfect.

Really happy with this spa. It has everything I need in one space. Sauna, steam, pools, advanced body services and facials.
Super clean and pleasant. I do wish people would always shower after sweating and before entering the pools. It’s common spa etiquette.

I usually use the hydrotherapy here. The check in is easy, and everyone at the desk is pleasant. Jacqueline is great, she gave me a thorough tour, and answered all of my questions. Since then I’ve always been excited to go back.
The cycle is very thorough and everything is kept tidy. It’s quite spacious and beautiful. The eucalyptus room with the stars on the ceiling is my absolute favorite part. Being here gives me an opportunity to truly be away and relax. And afterwards I always feel refreshed and happy!
The Yuan Spa is a perfect gem in the city to get away from busy life.

I’ve been going to Yuan for over a year. A beautiful spa with the bonus of being open til 10pm every night. The hydrotherapy and saunas are relaxing even without getting a massage. A perfect evening to bond with my teenage daughter.
I’ve been pretty happy with all the services I’ve had here. I particularly enjoy using hydrotherapy and steam saunas prior to massages and facials. I highly recommend the Chinese body scrub.
The therapists and aestheticians are all professional and good.
The one time (only one out of many services over 1.5years) I had a bad experience, Jacqui at the front desk immediately thanked me for letting her know, and made it right. She always is so friendly, and gives great advice. I happily see lots of different providers, but I have to say, Jacqui and Scarlet up front are awesome!

**Exceeded expectation** Chinese Body Scrub
My expectation of the body scrub was that it would basically be the first half of the Body Ritual, well it was that AND more! So not only do you get the ultimate body scrub and body wash with that magic soap they use, they wash and scrub your face and you also get the wonderful tingling scalp treatment!
**Customizing your experience** –Tyson
After the body scrubs we dried out in the dry sauna for a bit and then headed upstairs for our massage treatments. Because I have had the Body Ritual with Tyson before I ask her to start the massage out like she was starting the moisturizing half of the Body Ritual with long flowing movements working the lotion into the whole body. It was wonderful as she seamlessly transitioned into a deep tissue massage and chased the tension out of my body.
**Attention to detail** –Sara
We don’t come as often as we would like but if I happen to run into Sara the assistant spa manager she will call me by name like we are there every week. And during this visit I mention a cosmetic maintenance item that she quickly addressed.
**Standard modesty statement**
It seems silly to have to mention this but like the Body Ritual the Chines Body Scrub is performed in a wet room normally by a same gender practitioner and is a FULL body scrub that is best received nude. In our case we request two female therapist for my wife’s comfort and MY legal bits are covered with a towel but EVERYTHING else gets scrubbed.

After getting a pedicure at Yuan Spa two years ago, I went in to labor that day! Must’ve been too relaxed or something about the foot massage. .. So now that I’m close to meeting baby #2, I’m back at Yuan Spa to see if it’ll work again!
The water in the waiting room has lemons, cucumbers, & strawberries! Super refreshing and I didn’t have to wait long before being brought back to get my pedicure! Cally was my nail technician and though she was nice (getting me water, snacks of dried apple, almonds, & half a cookie), she kept reaching over and touching my belly! I keep shrinking away and it really made me feel awkward that she was doing that!
The pedicure itself was good — no complaints there! Just the weirdness of the belly touching! Pregnancy is not an open invitation to invade someone’s personal space! And nope — I didn’t go in to labor after this pedicure!

This place is relaxing, professional, and clean. I went here last weekend as a birthday present from my aunt and I soaked in the pools and got a body scrub. They give you spa sandals, a robe, and a locker upon arrival. I soaked in the hydrotherapy pools before my body scrub. There is a hot pool (104 degrees F), a cold pool, a wet eucalyptus sauna with twinkling star lights on the ceiling, and a dry sauna. There are also salts to do your own body scrub and ice cold water infused with fruits and cucumbers.
My body scrub was okay. I was expecting something more amazing I guess because my skin didn’t really feel or look different afterwards. My skin was a little softer but that’s about it. I did like the mini massage and hair /​face wash after the scrub though. They use this amazing mint shampoo, conditioner, and face wash that I could still smell on myself two days after the treatment!
The one thing is that I don’t really trust their lockers… They seems a little janky and I overheard another woman telling one of the employees that her boyfriend opened his locker and found someone else’s things in it… Just a warning
