This organization was formed by a group of individuals who are passionate about treadmill desking not only because we’ve experienced its positive effects on our own health, but also because of the potential to have lasting and widely-​scalable effect on the population of workers everywhere. Our team includes experts on treadmill design, office technology, ergonomics and health care. It is our goal to promote well-​being and wide-​spread adoption of treadmill desks through only recommending the best products from the most reputable manufacturers.

Leading a team of experts on treadmill design, office technology, ergonomics and health care is Ron Wiener, Editor-​in-​Chief of Work​While​Walk​ing​.com. After a successful 30-​year career in high technology including as CEO of seven investor-​backed technology start-​up companies, in 2013 Ron decided to shift his focus towards fostering the treadmill desk revolution. On a very personal level as a long-​time user and advocate of treadmill desks he sees them as the single most effective tool yet devised that has the potential to actually reverse the negative effects sitting disease has had on the nation’s health and economy, in a scalable way.
