If you’re looking for a pseudo Seinfeld soup nazi encounter than head on in. When ordering, the scowling counter woman will simply snap the reply NO! to almost everything you attempt to order. Food was nothing special, not worth the hassle of settling on whatever the teriyaki nazi decides to cook for you.

Super rude lady taking the order. she give me my chicken with no teriyaki sauce and when I told her it has no sauce she said no its good. I told her that it’s not the first time I eat teriyaki. She didn’t want to do anything about it. never coming here again.

Never again. Counter lady is so rude. I walk up and order Mongolian beef. She said«no we short staff you can’t have that there’s no one cooking it for you». Then she goes in the back to bag orders. When she’s done she comes back to me standing there so I ask what can I order??? End up with teriyaki chicken. Raw rice. Asked for soy sauce, got one tiny packet. So I asked for a few, like 5. I got one more and a dirty look. Them I need a napkin. I get one. Ask for another get dirty look. Smh if you can’t afford those things just close already. Or, stop being a total twat to customers so they’ll come back. I work within walking distance and would have been in 2−3x a week if it seemed like I was wanted there.

The past few times I have come here they are out of items. I tried to make a togo order today at 2:50pm and they told me they were only serving dinner and I could not make an order… I’ll probably never come back.

Sadly, me thinks this place is a ‘done deal’. Not sure what has happened because we love the family, but tonight was probably our last time ordering from them. We had the most recent ‘to-go’ menu and ordered. Got the new ‘Special’ of Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken since the Bento boxes are no longer a choice. Tried to order Tofu, Fried rice and any soup. None were available. Order home — fatty chicken, dried out chicken in the Kung Pao and 2(!) carrots, 4 pieces of celery and ½ dozen peanuts. The salad was only lettuce, wet and large pieces. Used to be with carrots/celery. Only one small cup of extra teriyaki sauce and one dressing. We so wish them luck as the neighborhood options are going away quickly.

My favorite place. Great prices, really good portions, and really tasty. It’s some great Americanized Teriyaki. You really can’t go wrong. The yakisoba is great, spicy chicken katsu, and sweet and sour chicken. All that with some gyoza. This is what I miss most about being away from home. Next to my dogs then family. Just call in and take it home, they almost always prepare it in 15 minutes. Awesome little joint.

This used to be a great place to eat and we have eaten here many, many times. Unfortunately, it has really changed. The women who owns the place used to be very nice and the service was great. The last time I went there we ordered our food and sat down to eat. It took 40 mins for the food to come out and even though we were sitting and clearly planning to eat there our food came out in to go boxes. The table did not have the normal bottle of teriyaki sauce or house made hot sauce that used to be put on tables. When we asked for plates since we were all sharing multiple dishes she only handed us one plate even thought there was 4 of us. When my father asked for more plates she looked at him like he was crazy and did not understand what he was asking for so. The food was not like it used to be and the service was terrible, I will not be eating here again. It is too bad since we have even made the drive from our new home in Monroe to eat here because it used to be great. I don’t know what happened.

if i could give this place less then one star, i would. i have gone here twice in two months and both times they have not had fried rice, yet they have white rice, just not fried rice. i will never go back here again. i do believe that on my next day off i will be spending it standing in front of this«restaurant» and i will protest and let the other customers know about their lack of care and customer service. you are a teriyaki restaurant, how the hell do you not have fried rice. fried rice starts with white rice and then it is fried in sesame oil then mixed with veggies and finally tossed with scrambled eggs. screw you and your failing business. i hope you and your restaurant go belly up

My family has gotten takeout here once a week like clockwork for several years. A but of a language problem, but I’ve never encountered any rudeness at all. Love the katsu, spicy chicken, sweet/sour, gyozas. My wife swears by the salmon teriyaki. The yakisoba’s good too if you’re in the mood for noodles. The kung pao’s a bit light on spice and peanuts, and heavy on green onions. Huge portions, decent prices.

Reviews below are true. When it’s busy, with Togo orders — the service is lacking when eating onsite. But the food itself is pretty good and big portions. The Yakisoba, teriyaki chicken and Kalbi are top choices. I would suggest going to this place to pickup your Togo orders and go elsewhere for dine in.

This is the second visit i pay to this establishment and im more then possitive it will be my last! The people here are rude and the food is not even worth the embarrassment… Oh and im convinced they hate kids… My first visit i came in with my 9 year old her little friend and my 2 year old, i waited 10 minutes to order because the rude lady at the counter kept taking togo orders, so i just sat there waiting… Finally she takes my order and says to go? I said no here, she said its going to be 45 minutes i have all these togo orders! Orders she took while im sitting there waiting at that point I just left… no way it takes 45 minutes to get 2 teriyakis and a yakisoba. Today i came in again with my kids i went ahead and ordered a chicken breast teriyaki and a kids meal i was asked to go? I said no here! I got my food in togo containers, i then asked for a plate so i could share with my 2 year old… Yes my baby is a messy eater what 2 year old isn’t? she kept looking at us to the point where my older daughter said, why does she keep looking at us? I then packed our food and said lets go… This lady had the nerve to walk up to me and say ur daughter spilled rice on the floor have respect and clean! WHAT?!! Should i wash her plate also? I replied. I walked out found the nearest dumpster and threw away all our food that’s how furious i was! NEVER coming back!

How rude! I ordered my meal to eat at the restaurant along with leaving a tip(preemptive gesture that is asked when u swipe a card). The owner brought my food out in a to go box after i specifically asked to eat at the restaurant. When i asked for more sauce for my food, the owner gave me a blank stare. I think she expected for me to pay more money for an ounce of sauce. I was very polite to her and her family. I did not feel that in return. Food is MEDIOCRE! Wheres the love???

I tried to eat here on 1÷12÷15. They’re supposed to open at 11, so I showed up at 11:15. They were still closed, which is understandable I suppose, so I sat in my car and waited. Still nothing 10 minutes later, so I got up to try the door, thinking maybe somebody forgot to turn on the open sign. They were closed, but a worker inside looked at me, then went back to what he was doing. I stood outside a few minutes longer, and nobody ever even acknowledged my presence or gave any indication they cared. I only have a 30 minute lunch off site, so left with barely enough time to get back, and hungry. You’ve lost a customer, and you can be sure I’ve told all my coworkers!

Tried this place out since it’s close by. Ran in for pickup. I tried the chicken yakisoba. The portion was huge. Plenty of chicken and noodles. A good balance of veggies… not too many. Taste was good. I really enjoyed this meal and had plenty for leftovers the next day. It also had some rice on the side… but I was only needing noodles! The husband had spicy chicken. Whoa. It was spicy. You could smell it. I tried a bite and it had good flavor along with some kick. Had white rice with it. He really enjoyed it. Again, plenty of leftovers for the next day. Spent $ 17 for 2 meals but with leftovers it was a good deal. We will be back to try more menu items.

I love their food! I have tried others nearby and not only are they not as good, they suck. They give good potions, high quality meat and it’s tasty. I eat there weekly — yakisoba and beef teriyaki. Go there — you won’t be disappointed

They close at 9. I was there at 8:49, the ‘OPEN’ light was on when I got in the parking lot, by the time I made it to the door, the light was out. I walked in the unlocked door and was told they were closed. This place is in Newport Hills, which is kinda off the beaten path. I made a special trip up the hill for a meal there, and they closed as I was a few yards away and denied me service. Unbelievable. Pretty good food here, Pretty weak customer service. I will not be going back.

This is another one of the seemingly ubiquitous Seattle teriyaki joints. It’s completely average, but the food is always ready in 15 mins or less from the time I phone in my order. The prices are fair, the food is fresh and prompt.

I go here from time to time for lunch. Really good. Fast and friendly service. Their Teriyaki Beef is really good. The Katsu, not so much. I only had it once but it was not crisp, more soggy from the frying. HUGE portions and pretty good prices.

Best teriyaki in Bellevue, the spicy chicken is my favorite. The previous reviewer must have a sick prone family. I have eaten here probably 100 times and never once got sick or had any problems.

This is your quintessential teriyaki joint: a rack piled high with magazines by the front door, ordering your meal at the counter, self-service beverages, and radio soft pop playing in the background. I’m a sucker for Mongolian Beef like Al Gore is for masseuses, so I ordered that for lunch here today. But unlike Al Gore’s masseuse at Hotel Lucia in Portland, my Mongolian Beef did not come with Moonstruck chocolates. As I opened The Stranger’s «Queer» Issue that I had found on the magazine rack, and began reading a series of articles titled«Republicans I F***ed», I dug into my Mongolian Beef. It had come with a pile of mostly raw carrots, zucchini, broccoli and white onion along with a upside-down rowboat-shaped scoop of rice. Now, while the beef was fairly good in flavor, it was more like sukiyaki(and made spicy hot by a gazillion chili flakes). It was very watery, with a puddle of thin gray sauce gradually accumulating in the basin of my plate. OK, about the vegetables that came with the Mongolian Beef — if you are going to cook vegetables, then cook them. If you are going to serve them raw, just plop them in a salad. After crunching on a couple of the carrot pieces, I said«Phooey» and ended up just picking out the meat and leaving the rest of the raw and over-sesame-oiled veggies behind. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, but based on the quality of the Mongolian Beef and its ridiculous raw vegetables, I probably won’t return.

I was hoping this teriyaki spot would improve the one other terrible option in Newcastle but unfortunately my hope was diminished during my second bite… First, the lady is terribly rude there. She didn’t seem to like we were eating there, and my wife got an up and down look for ordering the chicken bowl… Anyways, the good: the sauce is light and not overpowering. the salad was pretty good and dressing works. the bad: chicken is eh… the taste of the sauce is meh… and the rice is hard and tasted like it sat there all day. I also had the prawns which just had a weird smell and taste to it. I wouldn’t recommend the spot but maybe I’ll give them another chance since, like i said, the other yaki spot in the area is terrible.

2 out of 3 of us got food poision from this place in January ’09. Those two had the same thing. The third had something different. Had this restaurant food before and were fine but won’t go back.
