I visit here often and the staff is always very friendy and helpful. I always seem to leave with accersories though(not that there is anything wrong with that). Many of the clothing labels they carry are also available at Nordstrom and other nearby boutiques that I also shop at. The jewelry I get there I ONLY see there and I get so many compliments on it.

i just about cried. i saw the most amazing little diane von furstenberg dress at sway and cake for under 100 dollars… but it was 3 sizes too small. i have yet to check out the downtown location, but the bbellevue sq. location has a good selection of premium denim and very cute clothes. the shop girls have been fabulous and the clothes i notices, at least, were less«trendy» and more classics that i would probably wear for many moons. very lovely lines made by designers with name and staying power. hopefully i will trim down much and find a bargain-sway and cake’s labels carry hefty price tags… most designers seems to be that way, but for such great pieces, i would be willing to splurge once my waistline and means coincide!

Walked in after seeing the sign mentioning«20% off everything in the store» Yay! I finally can afford something here. What did I get? Flip flops a.k.a slippers in Seattle when it rains, a DVF dress and two basic long tees. Compared to NM prices I felt like I was getting an even bigger deal. The girls were really cute and bubbly. not obnoxious just the right bubblyness. I’ll probably go back cause they said they email coupons on a regular basis. Oh boy. gotta get a part-time job me thinks.

Our prayers have been answered — Seattle has finally gotten some decent clothing boutiques. So maybe more like semi-responsive. I don’t know if this location of Sway & Cake deserves to be considered a «boutique» since it’s technically a chain and resides at Bellevue Square. It definitely has a lot less inventory than the more«hip» locale in Seattle, thus fewer designers and such. At least the associates are nice and perky — lack of fresh air and daylight are occupational hazards when working at the mall.
