Sushi Me

Cheaper and WAY better sushi than trappers or blue C sushi. Unless your thing is deep fried sushi slathered in cream cheese… In which case you should go to trappers, or McDonalds.

I visited this place for the first time Saturday, and I was really impressed. It’s more expensive than my usual go-​to sushi place, but the quality and variety is so worth it. Everything tasted incredibly fresh. The salmon skin hand roll was particularly tasty. I’d go again in a flash.

Rolls were good, but an order of sashimi & nigiri highlighted the less than stellar quality of fish used. The worst aspect is value; $ 33 of takeout was barely enough for one person. There are better options in the area, for both price and quality…

Came in around an hour before closing, don’t know what it may have been but I left with an unsettling stomach. I can’t believe they call this sushi?! Store bought sushi is even better than this place. 2 stars because of the plum wine.

One of my favorite sushi bar in Seattle. Great value comparing to the good sushi. Most of the sushi are above average.

I was getting into my car after work when a huge sushi-​craving hit me. I love about a block away from Sushi Me so after a quick Unilocal scan I chose this for pick-​up
Service — Everyone was really friendly when I walked in. I was attended to within a minute and the place was clean. It’s a sushi belt style restaurant. I haven’t sat down to eat there before but it seemed pretty good. I’d lump Sushi Me in the same category as Susi Maru (Bellevue) but better than Sushiland.
Sashimi-​Mini-​Combo: It came with 2 thick cuts of tuna, salmon, and white tuna each. The salmon was really great. Tuna was a little lean (I’m an otoro person anyway). The white tuna was tasty but the freezing-​unfreezing of it left it a little bit watery in my honest opinion. Could be better, but still hit the spot. A lot of shredded daikon was added to my take out box which was great. I love piling that on before dipping the whole thing in a little bit of soy sauce.
Albacore Tuna Sushi: Tasty tasty tasty. I always love albacore. Not much to say except I loved it.
Cajun Seared Salmon Sushi: I’ll flip out for ANYTHING seared salmon. This was no exception. 1 order of 2 pieces for $ 3.25. Most pairs of sushi orders are $ 2.25. Paying an extra $ 1 for that seared service… worth it still. I wish I ordered 6 of these… I would eat them all.
Overall, one of those dime-​a-​dozen sushi places. Service is friendly, location is nice, so I’m sure I’ll be back.

Delicious, fast, and efficient sushi place. Favorites are the seaweed salad, cucumber roll (very refreshing), and the «crunchy cali» roll. The servers are kind and attentive. Ask for any for the conveyor belt sushi to be prepared fresh and they will usually make it for you.

[Dine-​In Experience] I am a sushi enthusiast and from my experiences compared to other sushi areas puts this place in top tier for conveyer belt sushi in Bellevue. They have come a long way from a few years ago and I feel that their food is fresh, tasty, and well-​executed. I am really satisfied with the roll selection here and feel that because there are a decent amount of folks that go through the doors, it keeps things even fresher.
Service is also better than a few years ago. Some folks are really great with their service while some folks seem like they may still be training. Recently, we have been receiving consistently good service.
Dishes ordered: Kimchi Ramen, Bellevue Roll, Red Dragon Roll, Mochi Cake, Salmon Nigiri, California Roll, Calimari

Sushi places abound, this one is just average but I still end up going here often as it’s conveyor belt style and offers a quicker lunch as you can start eating as soon as you’re seated. The sushi and rolls are not better than some nearby options, it’s similar to Genki Sushi in Factoria area, maybe a little better. They always seem to have more fried options though, like fried tofu and more rolls with fried shrimp etc.
It does offer an expanded menu with Udon and Ramen bowls which are probably a bit better than what’s coming down the conveyor belt. I once picked some fried dumplings off the conveyor belt but it was stone cold, same for another item that was supposed to be hot. The server asked me to put it back even though I told her I had touched the dumpling (that’s how I knew it was cold). I was a bit appalled that she just asked me to put it back. Now I make sure I see something new and fresh coming down before I pick it up or I order from the menu directly. I have learned the way to get fresh items is to order off the menu and not go for items on the belt.
The Ramen bowl is sometimes a better option but if I really had to go with Ramen I would go to the nearby Kukai and get proper Ramen. My rating is 2.5 stars but rounding up to 3.

I am always worried when I go to a conveyer sushi restaurant, this was great! Not only is the price right but all the food (even the nigiri) was fresh. They will make you anything off the menu. The staff are very attentive and friendly. We will be back!

If I could, I would rate Sushi Me as 3 ½ stars.
We stopped by on a weekday night, and the place was packed. Luckily, we only had to wait about 10 minutes for a seat. For conveyor belt sushi, I would consider Sushi Me as a step above the other places. They have some different dishes as compared to other similar places. I liked the salmon collar, as well as the ramen. While it is a step above as far as options, the price is s step above as well. Overall, this is a good place for sushi if you don’t want to spend a lot of money on a traditional sushi restaurant.

Overall very good experience. All rolls tasted fresh. server was very accomodating with our requests. Nice clean restaurant

My experience here was pretty delightful. I’ve been to all the other conveyor belt places — Maru, Genki, Sushiland, and Blue C and I have to say this is pretty top notch stuff. We came in and were seated right away. We had different servers, but they were all very fast to get us drinks, sauce plates, orders, etc. whatever we needed. Their menu is pretty extensive I have to say. They offer things like ramen, udon, your standard hot foods like mussels, takoyaki, and even shu mai! Tons of different and unique rolls you don’t see at other conveyor belts (baked scallop, crispy lobster roll, lobster/​salmon roll, crispy tuna, etc).
However, I did notice that as the night went on and as more people came, the service was a little more scattered. Their prices are pretty comparable to Maru and Genki as with quality. I’d definitely come back if I’m in the area again.

Much of the sushi I got off the belt here was pretty stale which is strange since there were so many people here at lunch time. The end bill came out to be pretty pricey too. Way better off going to a buffet and eating the sushi there.

Still more expensive than Sushiland, but the quality is better. (And my tastebuds have grown up a little to appreciate it). We ordered a bunch of sashimi and rolls, I liked the Seattle roll (salmon, avo, cuke) it was a tasty combination.
I also enjoyed the bowl of tonkatsu ramen. It’s nothing fancy, but for $ 5, it’s right between the instant noodles you’d make at home and something you go out for– decent noodles, rich broth, topped with seaweed, shreds of pickled things, and a slice of pork. Yum

Great portions for conveyor belt sushi. I wish I was in the area more to enjoy this place. Waitresses were very attentive and the chefs were always within an earshot to take an order. Also had this rice bowl with what seemed like seared salmon and it was really good. A huge order for the price. Since it’s Bellevue I sort of expect the prices but overall you’re getting what you pay for.

Where do I begin??? I am an easy eater. But seriously calling this a sushi restaurant should honestly be a disservice to the name itself.
First of all, this is a supposed Japanese restaurant, so why are there Shumai dim sum plates floating around? Sorry did I go to Top Gun? I must be lost.
Secondly, the point of an omakase is that it is reflective of the opinion and creativity of the sushi chef. But honestly I get the same pieces of sushi every time. Should just be called a sashimi dinner or lunch combo.
And probably the biggest crime of all, is calling donburi just donbu. First of all, just putting three pieces of sashimi, topping it with salsa, and a few pieces of fried onions isn’t justifiable to be labeled donburi. Okay now I see why it might be called donbu, because I see that you guys are missing a lot of key components that actually make up donburi. Hence why I can see why the owner subtracted two letters from the name.
And holy smokes, the music playlist reminds of those awkward high school dances that try too hard to sound like a god damn rave. It’s kinda unprofessional for a restaurant setting, and it kills any relaxing mood that I was in before walking in. I mean, would you like to hear Nick Jonas talking about one of his 7000 crushes that he has? Not me sir

Mehhhh… not anything more than that. The prices are way too high for this location and for the quality of sushi. I got a take-​out, and the wait time was reasonable, the service friendly. But sushi were very mediocre. The hand roll has so little fish in it, but the price didn’t reflect that.
Took a star off for sushi quality and a star for the prices.

Definitely one of the best sushi spots in Bellevue/​eastside! I don’t understand people calling this place standard or «okay» because everytime I come here I’m promptly greeted and there’s never a wait so I’m seated immediately and the sushi is so good! They have such a wide variety of not just sushi, but different types of food (dim sum, ramen, soups, spring rolls, etc) a normal order for me here is: Bellevue roll, firecracker roll, seared salmon, crispy spicy tuna, and kimchi ramen. I love the ramen! It comes in a big bowl, piping hot soup, kimchi, tofu, seaweed, boiled egg, and considerable helping of ramen. I suppose I haven’t had much of their sashimi, but as for specialty rolls, this place does it for me!

Let’s talk about how I came to 5 stars. I’m NOT giving this 5 stars because the sushi quality is amazing. Compared to the nicer places in Vancouver, Canadia, this place isn’t up to par. BUT considering the quality, quantity and price, it sure beats a lot of the cheaper sushi places in Vancouver on all fronts! You’re paying the same price PER piece of sushi in Vancouver but you get 2 of them!
I also love this place for quickness. Yes I still order some favorites but for the most part, I can just grab things as they come and they’re almost always fresh (avoid non-​meal times as things may sit a bit longer on the belt).
I love the following items here:
— amaebi. HOLY SH** the size is huge here and it’s absolutely delicious. Really love the deep fried head as well.
— firecracker roll was yum! If you like spicy tuna and want to add more spicy tuna with a thin slice of jalapeño and some siracha, then this will hit the spot for you!
— the cajun seared tuna
— the plain ahi tuna
— the bluefin tuna steak
— spicy tuna roll
Price point wise it’s really reasonable and quite filling, so that’s a good combo in my books.
