Had a good time. Waitress was friendly and the beer was good. It seemed like a bit silent saturday evening, but we were not there for any action. I shall return!

Real dick of a place. After reading the reviews I thought, great a nice local place. After going in, sitting down and being ignored for 10 minutes I left. Waitress walked by me 3 times never said hi, welcome, or even be right with you. You want new customers treat them like you want them to be there

This place is full of loud mouth and rowdy locals. One couple was borderline abusive towards each other, and it had to be the most uncomfortable thing to be next to. I didn’t know whether to confront the abusive guy squeezing the hand of his partner to the point of her howling in pain, or to call the police. This isn’t normal behavior, and it was shrugged off and tolerated by the bartender who clearly over-served these folks. This places only saving grace is the food is good, and affordable. If you’re into Jerry Springer *LIVE* then check this place out. Otherwise, find another place to have a bite to eat.

This is a tiny spot, but very decent for beers and drinks. You could walk right past it if you weren’t paying attention. Per the reviews, I came in on a Wednesday to try the Prime Rib. It did not disappoint. Very friendly bar staff and the customers seemed chill. I’ll probably come back to drink and prime-rib it up again if i’m in the area.

Nice place to hang out with co-workers and the locals. Bartenders are friendly and do get you your drinks fast. Their food is also delicious! Good American food. I always make it a must to stop by during my business trips to Redmond

Excellent food in a small, neighborhood-feeling bar. Two of us had burgers and one had fish & chips. All three of us were very happy with the meal and agreed we’d go back. BTW, between us we had fries, tots, and onion rings — all three options were delicious. Friendly service too!

This place is fantastic!!! One of my favorites! I originally came here because my boyfriend and his friends were obsessed with this place but now I understand why. For one, the bartender, Adrian, is soo nice!!! she is very friendly and comfortable to talk to. She is very attentive and tends to all customers needs! Best bartender ever! This place has the best food ever. Everything on their menu is literally amazing. Today, I had the scampi pasta and let me say first that the portions are HUGE, it comes with a big bowl of pasta with bread on the side and a salad as well. I could only finish half but seriously the pasta was so good I can honestly say it’s better than Purple. The fries and burgers here are really hot and fresh. So far, I haven’t heard any complaints from my bf and his friends about the food here. I come here every Thursday now and it gets pretty busy sometimes! Definitely worth stopping by!

Newly back to the area and are exploring our neighborhood. Unilocal said it was good… So we went. Definitely hometown«Cheers» type place. Nice staff. Food looked good around us but we didn’t eat. We will though. We will be back for sure.

Wings, wings and wings. I really enjoyed their wings as they were prepared, just the way I like. Just wish I had known they were putting out a free buffet of wings, since it was Super Bowl Sunday!

Good meatball sub and seafood soup. Good service and nice people. Seems like there is a good group of regulars that hang out.

This is the latest episode of my continuing quest for The Great Meatball Sandwich. Steve’s is the quintessential neighborhood bar. They are super-friendly and probably know your name by your second visit. Its a fun and comfortable spot. We came for the food, so lets get to it. This Meatball Sandwich is one of the best I’ve had in Washington. The bread was perfect, toasted just right to a crunchy crust with a warm soft inside. There was plenty of mozzarella and the marinara was tasty. Ask for a little cup more of it, you’ll thank me. They cut their own spuds into shoestrings and double fry them — great taste and texture. The lunch was a solid 4 ½ stars and the great friendly service bumps it to 5. The menu looks solid, and we saw how good the Fish and Chps Special looked. There’s plenty more here to keep us interested.

Not going to lie… I used to walk by Steve’s and thought it was sketchy and turned my nose up to it so quickly. You can’t see into it from the outside, and something about this strip mall bar just gave me the creeps. It wasn’t until my boyfriend insisted multiple times we visit the place together. On Thursdays, they have the prime rib dip special, which he swore by. Ok, I didn’t have the best ideas about what would be behind the mysterious door, but if he liked it, why not? As soon as you walk in the door, it’s actually a pretty cute place. There’s a huge flat screen in the corner and then multiple other televisions above the bar area. The servers were all really sweet and made you feel welcome and like you’re part of their family too. I was really impressed with the food. «Can I have one bite of yours?» I’d ask my boyfriend, which immediately turned into me eating most of his sandwich(oops). It was a really good experience, and I’ve returned a couple times since my «initiation» into this cute, but divey bar.

My boyfriend loves prime rib, so we come here on wednesdays for their prime rib special, which is about 15 $, a STEAL if you’d ask me! The bar is pretty small, you seat yourself but when you walk in, it’s kinda awkward at first but the servers are really nice. The first time i went the lady didn’t let me choose my sides so she just gave me a potato and broccoli but the second time i went, it was a different girl, and she let me choose from all sorts of sides so i guess it all depends on the server.

I would hardly give a perfect score to what seems to be a hidden bar in a very long strip mall on 20th. Here’s why I think so: The service has always been consistently friendly and attentive. They hustle and communicate well here! I was rather confused at first as I did not expect such attentiveness in such a relaxed atmosphere. The owner of the establishment can be found visiting and walking about. I think that’s cool that the owner cares enough to come by, especially since it has been some years now making that income with a great staff, you figure he’d be on a beach somewhere instead. The food is actually pretty good and locally cooked instead of from cans or microwaved. Many bars do a minimum to comply with the new laws to provide food but this place is also good to grab a nice dinner like meal as well! The space is well used and feels bigger than it is. The place is kept comfortable in temperature and in ambiance. very welcoming. Finally, the clientele. Many watering holes have a hand full of regulars that seem a bit territorial and clicky. I came on two different occasions and found whether I am there to eat or to just drink, the people who frequent this place seem very friendly, respectable, and open. Thanks for making me feel comfortable visiting this place and providing great service and comfort foods.

I went to Steve’s because of the high Unilocal ratings. What a surprise. The ratings surely come from locals who use Steve’s as their local«Cheers». Full of neighborhood folks drinking bottles of Bud and playing pull tabs or discussing work, friends and family. The two young women tending bar and serving food seemed to know everyone by name. All of that makes this a GREAT neighborhood bar, but not an attraction for out of towners. The food was good in a home town bar kind of way; preformed, previously frozen burger patties, cooked to brown shoestring fries. It tasted good and felt like a weight for hours. A comfy home, 1950s American food kind of place.

Very impressed with this hole in the wall. Super friendly staff and bartender. Stopped in around 7 on a Friday night and it was hopping. Lot’s of regulars. Excellent drink the bartender made me! She made me feel like I belonged which was very refreshing as other bars in Bellevue don’t have this«inviting feel.» We order a few snacks. The bruschetta and mozzarella cheese bread. Everything was spot on good! Food was made with fresh ingredients and it came out fast. Fun atmosphere! Plenty of TVs for all those sporting events that are broadcasted. We will be back!

It felt really funny when I arrived there… I was not sure if I should go in or wait until my friends to show up! I was hungry so I decided to just go in. A city like Bellevue, full of Asian population, I did feel weird that I was the only Asian in the bar. The crew here is a bit older. I’d say 45 plus. Well, there’s no social freeze in this place! Everyone knew other people’s names. From the server, Megan to some regular customers(one of them is John). It’s like their livingroom. They dined here, watched TV, talked to each other, tried to solve other’s problems, etc. It definitely feels like home! Wednesday night, there’s Prime Rib special. It might not be the best prime rib I’ve had, but it’s definitely very home style meal. If you want, you can customize your meal a bit like my buddy, John. He got mayo for his boiled veggies: P I didn’t feel I can finish my Prime Rib and didn’t take it home either, just didn’t think it would be good leftovers to reheat. But, I was happy with my decision. Prime Rib was $ 16 and I paid with tips in $ 20 total. There were approximately 15 of us here for a surprise send-off party to our future Ironman/Ironwoman friends. We occupied the back corner of the place and chatted about the race and caught up with each other. To the end of the party, we cut the celebration cake. Megan was able to accommodate us and provide us knife, plates, and forks. Considering it’s one-server type of night, Megan did a great job assisting us and other customers.
