Just got a hair cut and hair color by one of the sweetest stylists. The salon is very clean and comfortable. They give you a robe to wear and provide tea/​coffee/​water. They also sell a few of my favorite hair products… from Bumble and Bumble and Oribe. I love my hair cut. Usually i have to have the stylist fix any imperfections from other salons, but this stylist was a perfectionist and did a wonderful job.

First, let me start by saying that I used to think paying for an overpriced service was not worth it every time I need a cut and color — sometimes Keratin… However, Colleen and Jennette make the experience and results worth it! Second, with all the updates to the shop, the group of stylists who have joined and stayed truly enjoy what they do, and love to create a new look, but also consistently provide everything you want and MORE. I’ve been Colleen’s client for several years now, and she amazes me every time she does my hair. Seriously. Not only does she exude a positive and genuine personality, but she has talent worth sharing and bragging about! Lastly, if you couldn’t tell, I’m completely satisfied with the environment and overall personality of Salon Matarazzo. I’ve found a home for my hair! Lol

Tina is amazing! I naturally have dark brown hair and have been coloring it since I was 14 and Tina managed to go from a brown to an amazing beige blonde in two hours! Always coming back to her.

I received a great haircut here. It just fell into place when I did it myself & grew out perfectly. I will probably not, however, go back. I didn’t really hit it off with the stylist. She wanted to tell me about her personal problems & didn’t really talk to me about my hair, other than I am thinning on top. Also about how avant garde her cuts are & how avant garde my cut was. Well I don’t care about being avant garde & I don’t think a bob that is stacked in the back has been avant garde since 1982.
But like I said, it was a great haircut, she clearly knows her stuff & it was worth $ 70, but just a miss on the personality.

I’ve been going to Lexi for at least 15 years and have never been disappointed as she is a perfectionist and at the top of her craft! I’ve received numerous services such as cut, color and foils and wouldn’t trust my hair to anyone else. Go see Lexi, you won’t be disappointed!

You want to know where I get my cuts and color done? Get in line, cause so does everyone else. Seriously, if I had a dime for every time someone complimented my hair in the last couple of years, I could go buy myself a nice wardrobe. Jules is just miraculous!
She really cares about making her customers 100% satisfied every visit, Jules is artistic, fun and intelligent. Her prices are very affordable and she takes her time (kind of a perfectionist)! I also love the salon itself — it’s nice and all of the staff is friendly and all smiles! If you’re looking to get some color or any kind of cut done then go see Jules! You won’t be disappointed!

Laura is amazing. Too many compliments to count on my hair color and style. and this has not happened to me every — being 47 that is saying something! :) The salon is also great — great customer service and nice feel.

I saw Laura today for a hair cut and I am very happy with it. She makes good suggestions and very nice to talk with. I would recommend her.

Just moved to Washington and was looking for a place to get my hair cut. I actually booked same day online. Super easy online booking. Connie was my stylist and she was great. Checking to make sure she was not cutting to much off and asking tons of question to give me a hair cut I would love, and I do. Thanks again Connie. I will definitely be back again

DAWN is a wonderful colorist! I’ve been seeing her for 10 years and have NEVER been dissatisfied. She’s very patient and I never feel rushed. Dawn helped me through a rough path when I developed an acute sensitivity to hair color. She researched different solutions and found a product OYA — that not only looks great but doesn’t create that itchy burning sensation other products can cause. She gives great haircuts too — you’ll appreciate her artistic talents.

Dawn best haircut and color I’ve ever had!!! I’m 29 so I’ve been to a lot of hairdressers and Dawn is by far the best hairdresser!!! Dawn never rushes, she is extremely thorough and she is an amazingly pleasant person to be around!!! I wanted to share my experiences at this salon and with all of you because I know how hard it is to find a great hairdresser!

Erik has been coloring and cutting my hair for 4 years! Every time I walk out feeling amazing! If you want a great stylist, go see Erik!!!

I have been having my hair colored and cut by Erik at Salon Matarazzo for over a year. He always does an excellent job. He has done several keratin straightening treatments, highlights, and styles from curly to straight and I have been happy with every single one.
The salon is neat and clean, parking is always available and I have never had to wait for my scheduled appointment. It is easy to book appointments online and Erik even offers his own special discounts from time-​to-​time.
What I like is that he doesn’t squeeze other people in between appointments so all of his time is devoted solely to me. I’ve been to other salons where the stylist tries to squeeze as many clients as he/​she can into a time slot and I feel like ‘musical chairs’ being told to move here and there while someone else’s hair is being styled or cut while I have to sit and wait and watch.
I have never been disappointed and would highly recommend Erik. A male friend of mine has gone to him for many years and was the person who referred him to me saying,“You could probably get a less-​expensive haircut but you can’t get a better haircut anywhere!”

I have been going to Salon Matarazzo for about 3 years now, and I am very happy; Ron cuts and styles my hair and Lorane colors it. I went to a high profile salon (no, not Gene Juarez, people) in downtown Seattle for over 20 years, and left when I «woke-​up» and realized that after all those years my stylist lacked the talent and/​or interest to encourage me to look my best (interestingly, the bland hair styles she often sent me off with were poorly finished – uneven cuts – and often covered half my face), and me with my low self-​esteem took mediocre as my lot in life.
I interviewed/​tried a total of 5 salons over the span of two years on the Eastside (where I live), and one of them was Gene Juarez. At three of the other salons I tried, the stylists had been trained at Gene Juarez, and being in my early 50s, everyone wanted to give my auburn hair a bob and blond highlights, because that’s what every middle-​age suburban woman wants, right??? I really didn’t want to look like a blond-​wannabee because I’m middle-​aged. Indeed, I began to realize that at many salons most stylists train at Gene Juarez, and having also sought service at Gene J. for a year, I knew that meant formulaic hairstyling. At Salon M., the fifth salon I tried, I arrived in Ron’s chair, hoping for something better, and found it. There’s attention to detail, there’s discussion of what’s working and what’s not, and there’s creativity. The stylists who work under Ron & Lorane’s direction, may train somewhere else, but they have to train next to Ron for months before working on their own, and Ron and Lorane thankfully, trained at Vidal Sassoon and offer a more discerning take on what works for me. Salon M. is rare find on the Eastside.

Love!!! Jules is a hair guru. I went in with lots of grow out. She mentioned the possibility of doing a balayage but did not press the issue. We stuck with a full foil and it was amazing.
Surprisingly I got turned on here by my boyfriend who also gets his hair cut here and she always does a great job
I brought out four year old daughter in and Jules did a great job giving her her second haircut ever. Very patient and friendly.
The prices are what you would expect of a higher end salon in Bellevue especially with the talent they have working for them.
We have never been pressured to buy product which is a great feeling. Jules actually recommend a Platinum product by purelogy they were currently out of specifically for my hair and I went and found it. She was spot on with the recommendation.
Make an appointment they seem to be booked usually.

I’ve been going to Salon Matarazzo for a couple years now and I could not be happier. Not only is the salon easy to get to with a lot of parking, but the customer service is great and I’ve never been disappointed.
I always see Laura and she always does exactly what I’m wanting for my hair. She is excellent at coloring and always keep my color up to date and she does a great job cutting as well. Overall, I’ve never been disappointed and I always walk out loving the way that my hair looks! I constantly get compliments about my hair and I always immediately recommend Laura at Salon Matarazzo!

I always feel so special at this salon and walk out feeling even better! I get my hair colored and cut here and have for the past 5 years. Scheduling is easy, as is parking and the space is clean, lively and bright! I love the staff who are glamorous but down-​to-​earth. Looking forward to when I need my next haircut!

I just happened to be in the area and needed a haircut. Gene Juarez was too busy, but luckily this place was open on Mondays and takes walk-​ins.
Rarely am I ever really satisfied with my haircut, but Jules did a great job not only on the cut but also with explaining how to style my hair. I usually wander from salon to salon, but I might just become a regular here.
I can’t speak for the other stylists since this was my first time, but definitely ask for Jules for your next cut.

I should’ve spent the extra $ 10 to get my hair cut by Jeannette but instead I opted for a $ 60 haircut by another gal. The haircut looked good when it was styled professionally, but I did immediately notice that there was a gap between the shortest & longest pieces of my hair — to my shock and dislike — as I was trying to avoid drastic layers. I thought I had communicated what I wanted to the hairstylist but wasn’t effective doing so, as is apparent from my haircut.
She was chatty and nice — but definitely felt very salesperson-​y (talking up how good the cut she was giving me looked, name dropping other clients whose hair she cut, etc.) which I generally dislike and I felt like she gave the cut she wanted to — instead of the one that was asked for.
Now I’m back to a long waiting period of growing out my hair again, so I can reconnect the pieces of layered hair in a less dramatic way. I’m a bit disappointed, but it’s nothing that time cannot fix and I’ve definitely had worse haircuts.

This salon is in an awesome location with tons of parking available. It is very clean and nice inside! It was really enjoyable and just so easy to find and park which is awesome.
I was probably the first person that walked in this morning. I had an appointment with Laura and I was early. The lady at the front desk (one of the owners I’m guessing) greeted me so sweetly and offered me coffee, tea, or water, a robe, and a seat! I flipped through a magazine for a few minutes and Laura walked in. She greeted me very nicely and the rest of my ~hour there was just awesome! Laura is the sweetest girl ever and so much fun to talk to! She has a great personality and she cuts hair gorgeously! I went in with hair down to about my bottom — VERY long and VERY thick and walked out with hair at chest-​length, still thick like I wanted, and nice layers. She did exactly what I wanted and was just such a pleasure to talk to the entire time!
She also charges a comfortable price, enough to allow me to give a good tip which I love doing for awesome stylists like her. It was worth every penny! I am someone who is comfortable paying 60−70ish for a good, quality cut because you can’t take your hair cut off at the end of the day — it’s there for the next few months! I am so so so happy with my haircut and I will definitely be back to Salon Matarazzo and back to Laura!
