Pura Vida

I don’t have an office at work since I work remotely. Though when I do have to go into the office, my main place to work from is at Pura Vida. This is a coffee bar that is located on the top floor of the Bravern 2 building which is completely occupied by Microsoft.
While there is a Starbucks machine in the break room in which you can get a freshly brewed cup of coffee, sometimes a latte at Pura Vida is needed. Coffee drinks and tea are offered here alongside baked goods, soups, cereal, snacks and a refrigerated case of sandwiches, salads and canned drinks. It is basically a convenience store and coffee shop in one place.
The food here is okay, but it is really meant to be on the go. So it is not as good as just going downstairs to the cafeteria to get something substantial to eat. I don’t buy something every time I visit. I am not chided about using the café seating here which is a good thing. After all, this is a workplace.
The view this café offers is beautiful. It has views of Lake Washington and areas of Bellevue to the north and beyond. You can see plenty of trees and greenery from here. If you work at MS or a company visitor to this building, Pura Vida is a nice spot to enjoy a cup of coffee with a million dollar view.
