I am a huge fan of phở. I have been to almost every restaurant on the eastside and tried them all. People Saw negative things about this restaurant because the service and atmosphere is off. I don’t think of phở as a full service restaurant. in Vietnam they serve phở out of carts or made in their own home. So to me atmosphere doesn’t make a difference. The flavor is very consistent which again is hard to find in a phở restaurant. Always very fast, i reccomend this place to all my friends! BESTPHOEVER!!!

Very good price for the amount of food you get, it’s 6 bucks for a small, 7-med, 8-large. You get complementary custard puffs(one per person) which taste great. You also get a plate of sides that include bean sprout, Thai basil, and lime. They have quick service as well. You can also order to go

Ok, I may just being sensitive I dunno: I’m at phở than brothers right now having lunch, and the waiter comes up to me and has his pad and paper out and looks at me, doesn’t say anything but I know it’s time to order so I do. He brings the bean sprouts and quickly sets them down as he’s walking past. Same thing with my water, and then same thing with my phở, which spilled a little. About 5 minutes later two Asian men come in and sit at the table across from me and he greets them(in English so I know he speaks English) and I watch as he brings their bean sprouts drinks and phở and sets them down nice and slow. Am I just fucking crazy? I like to think that I’m not this sensitive but what is happening? Maybe I’m imagining it? Food is great but I dunno if I’m getting bad service because I’m black, female, or I have a sign on my head that says be mean to me.

The phở here is just okay, still better than someplace around this area. They might want to change to a more enthusiastic staff though.

This is one of my favorite places for phở. The service is always fast and the food is always consistent. Very easy to place to go orders too and they package it well.

I highly recommend phở brothers! I’ve been a regular customer sence 2013, they are great! They greet you as you come in the door and recommend a table or you can choose. Soon after the bring you water and cream puffs as well as your condiments for your soup at that time they will take your order. I order the # 8 brisket and trip apsolutly delicious, my soup arrived fast and hot. I have been nothing but satisfied with there service and food.

The people who are giving this place positive reviews probably just fell for the large portions and low, low prices. Once you look beyond those two things, there is nothing special or redeeming about Phở Than Brothers. It is average in quality at best and might have some questionable issues with sanitation. But when you can get an extra large bowl of phở for a little over eight dollars, it makes me not want to complain too much and to just eat. Service is super fast, like you’ll have your bowl ready in under five minutes most likely. They bring out the plate with garnishes and cream puff even before that, but freshness seems to be lacking with their food. For them to bring it out like that, the food had to have been sitting there for a while. The staff appear less than enthusiastic about their job, too. I appreciate being able to grab a quick bite like this, but I’d probably rather eat phở from a nicer restaurant.

I have been coming here for years since it’s my go-to phở place when I’m feeling yuck or hungover and the closest quality phở to me. I recently came in and realized how dirty the restaurant is. Have they ever heard of a vacuum?! I’m sorry but I was kind of disgusted with all of the food/random debris all over the floor, the dirty mirror walls, and stained white table clothes almost made me lose my appetite. It’s one of those places you really have to just wait out until the food comes. because the phở is awesome! I always get the #2(steak with brisket) and the veggies come fresh and washed. The soup is piping hot, noodles are soft and completely cooked, and the meats are always pretty tender! Will still continue to come here but if they took care of their appearance a little, I would love it tenfold.

Nothing special, but great value for the price. Extra meat option adds legitimate meat. Should note that it is phở only. No other Vietnamese food available.

Good find, will gladly be coming back again. Custard cream puff start FORFREE. I dig it. Ordered an XL $ 8 large with plenty of broth, noodles and meat(though light on the tendon). Broth leaves you a bit parched(on the saltier side), but it’s delicious.

This place is located in a small strip mall across from Crossroad’s mall. It’s a small restaurant. I’ve been here several times. I usually get the medium phở dac biet(phở special), which is the #14 I think, lol. It comes with a plate of bean sprouts, cilantro, jalepenos, limes. You get a complimentary crème puff for dessert, which comes out before you get your phở. Service is okay-the waiters do bring out your food pretty quickly though after you order. You pay for your food up front at the cash register after you’re done eating. I like to come here for phở, especially if I have a hankering for it, and my mom hasn’t made homemade phở in awhile.(Her phở is the best by the way-just saying… :P)

Phở Than is a no-frills phở chain that has sprung up all over Seattle and the East side over the last couple of decades. What’s not to love here? The price is right, and the food is wholly satisfying. At the advent of your meal, you’ll be given a complimentary cream puff. Nice little touch, and you can even save it for dessert. The menu is very simple: there are many kinds of phở, period. Pick your poison, pick the size(the medium mirrored the size I was used to from other Vietnamese restaurants), and feast! The broth is a bit thin, but the quality of meat and noodles is pretty solid. Service is essentially non-existent; be prepared to beckon a server if you need anything, because no one’s going to be waiting on you here. However, you end up with a full, satisfied stomach on less than $ 10, so there really isn’t much to complain about at all.

The famous Phở Than Brothers. glad I finally got a chance to try the Bellevue location. You can taste the quality in the phở broth, that’s clear. I can’t think of much wrong with Phở Than, truthfully. it’s your quintessential phở restaurant. Cheap, fast, good. I ordered the Phở Tai Bo Vien without noodles and I swear the waiter walked away, picked it up in the kitchen and brought it out, never breaking stride. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed or wow’ed. It’s middle of the pack nothing techincally wrong utility phở.

We’ve been here a few times and it’s definitely a hit and miss place. Phở ranges from bland to decent and borderline good. I wouldn’t go as far as saying they’re the best I’ve ever had because that would be a lie. Can’t deny the food is cheap and they accept cards. But I’ve honestly had better service at food courts and drive through’s. The service is horrible. Every time I come here, I notice that the servers(and probably family/owners) look so grumpy and«lazy». Lazy in quotes because there is one person in particular who just sits with a slouch in a chair every time we go there, even once we’re in. If you’re going to be in this type of business, at least look like you’re enjoying your job and happy to see people coming. I’d like to go elsewhere, but have to admit the location is appealing to us and there aren’t many Vietnamese places around the same vicinity(please correct me if I’m wrong as I’m fairly new here).

This is probably my favourite phở place around eastside. Cheap, fast, and lots of food. When I saw that they had an XL listed at $ 7 which is the same /cheaper than most places charge for a normal size, I was suspicious at their sizing scheme. But their medium is really about the same size as other places normal size. Meaning the XL was huge, it also had plenty of meat. Tastes just as good as other comparable phở places. I’m a big eater but could barely finish it. Once you order they are also super quick about bringing the food out. And at the end, they normally serve you complimentary cream puffs. Decent custard cream puffs.
