I have no opinion on their customer service because my hubby gets their food at lunch and shares it with me. The irrational hash is the only thing I’ve tried from them and I love it. The sweet potatoes and italian sausage are diced into tiny pieces so it all just meshes together with the maple and sage. The sweet potatoes taste caramelized. One serving doesn’t look like much, but it’s actually quite filling. My hubby loves the box cut bread, but I don’t eat bread so I have no opinion of it except that it looks really good. LOL! For people on the Paleo diet, the irrational hash is for you!

Not much on the menu appealed to me but the box cut bread sounded good. Few things here, it was an average sized loaf of sour dough. Seen bigger bread bowls of chowder. And it was sliced to out cheese and onions in between. I’ve seen this on pintrest and I feel this fell short on a few levels. 1. I didn’t feel there was enough cheese, I maybe had 2 – 3 pieces on the edge that had some cheese. 2. Only the top got toasted. And it was good and crisp but the bottom was still a bit cold and got a bit soggy. Since it is not cut all the way through maybe toast both sides? 3. Price. So for bread and cheese $ 8. If it were a loaf the side of bread bowls and had more cheese ok sure. It’s not a main course item so not sure why priced like one. I think $ 6 is the right price point for this. Also wasn’t thrilled with the onions. If I wanted to eat stink I’d opt for roasted garlic. Just my opinion.

First of all the are very disorganized, they dont know how to take order nor give them to the correct people. After waiting 30 mins for some simple hash I came to find out they gave me order to someone else just a few seconds before, I then had to wait another 10 mins for my hash and when I got it, it was flavorless and pretty bad over all i threw it out. If you want to run a food truck learn how to cook and take orders

This truck’s menu stirred some thoughts about menu design and whether food trucks can ignore traditional menu design and still be successful commercially. The question of the day: Can a food truck star items that are traditionally«sides» only and not serve a main? This truck just opened in July 2015 so I thought I would put them on the Unilocal Map. The truck was located in NE2nd St and 110th Ave NE –behind ToysRUs on a Monday. I had arrived a little bit before 11 and they were just putting out their signs and warming up their grill. There was a question about gold posted on the truck and prize to be won for the first 24 patrons who answered the question correctly. The lady was really nice and offered me a sample of ice tea as I waited for my food to be ready. Nothing on the menu is over $ 10. I ordered the Irrational Hash, what had homemade Italian Sausage, Sage, Maple, and Sweet Potatoes for $ 8. The girl taking my order asked me if I wanted anything else, but from looking at the menu there was nothing that would compliment the hash. There were salads, bread, soup, and sliders. So I opted for not ordering anything else. When my Irrational Hash came, it was a little to-go box. The sausage was delicious and the sweet potato with maple had a great flavor of head. However, it left something to be desired. It didn’t feel like a complete lunch. I would love to have a breakfast plate with a piece of salmon or an egg to go with the hash. I would have loved to try their salmon, but I don’t want the bread that would have gone with the slider. Given that the truck is still new, I am sure that they are working on refining the menu. But I think having a menu option of add salmon(+$ 2) and add egg(+$ 1) would have created a more complete meal and allow for a more satisfactory experience. With all that said, I find this truck to be on the more unique side. Having gone to the Seattle Street Food Fair last weekend, I am finding more food trucks that are just an extension of the brick and mortar restaurants. It used to be that a good truck would serve a really unique item that you can’t find in restaurants and just do it exceptionally well. Now it just seem like anyone who wants make a burger or a pad Thai would have a food truck. There is no originality anymore. This truck is at least original. With a little bit of adjustment, I think it can be a great success.
